As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll be part of our Product Service Division working as an on-site employee?You'll get to:
+ Utilize your knowledge of SB&D shipping procedures to verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments at the Service Center.
+ Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
+ Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records.
+ Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages.
+ Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages.
+ Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both at the counter and via phone.
+ Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally.
+ Strive to achieve Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) goals set for the center by the division.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
+ Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into the computer system to acknowledge receipt of goods in the purchase order and processing database.
+ Assist at the front counter during CSR breaks and peak hours as needed.

Primary Responsibility:

Under general supervision, the Shipping and Receiving Associate will keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments by providing information, direction, and scheduling regarding product acceptance, delivery, and storage.

What You'll Do:

• Work with others to representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

• Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.

• Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

• Resolve issues related to overages, shortages and damages.

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.

• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.

• Contact customer to resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain correspondence with customers, including receipts, invoices (if required), and tallies.

• Document all correspondence.

• Provide assistance in answering the telephone, resolving distribution center problems, and providing backup to the warehouse.

Job Description

Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Verify inventory and visually inspect shipments for quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Accurately label all pulled orders with order number, receiver's name, and case quantity
+ Report ticket issues promptly to leadership
+ Pull orders in a timely and accurate manner
+ Assist with freight movement and product location after pulling orders
+ Report damaged pallets to the supervisor
+ Complete daily forklift maintenance checklist
+ Maintain, clean, and properly charge forklift batteries
+ Operate various warehouse machinery and material handling equipment
**Minimum Requirements**
+ 2+ years Sit-down or stand-up forklift experience (required)
+ Double pallet jack experience (required)
+ Ability to understand instructions in English
+ Comfortable working in environments in -20°F/-25°C (cold storage) with PPE provided
+ Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
+ Ability to work in areas with varying noise levels

**About the Role**
+ Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products using voice audio headset.
+ Hand stack cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively from floor to over-head.
+ Place the beverage products in a defined stacking pattern onto the pallet.
+ Hand shrink wrap orders with label and move completed order to the loading dock area using electronic pallet jack or walkie-rider equipment.
+ May need to perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and other duties as assigned.
**Shift and Schedule:**
+ Full-time
+ Monday- Friday
+ 5:00PM - finished
+ Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed is required
