Summit Technical Solutions (STS) ( is seeking a SharePoint Front End Developer to provide software engineering support on the Command Information Management Systems (CIMS III) contract in Huntsville, AL.

General Description

Perform software engineering activities to include concept, design, analysis, development, testing, government acceptance, integration, documentation, and delivery and operation of software.

• Software development activities may also include implementation of security controls, performance monitoring and improvement, and SharePoint templates and workflows.

• SharePoint activities include portal branding, graphics and page layout design, and training end users to update SharePoint pages and templates.

• Web Portal tasks include providing support for technology enhancements, graphic support, testing, design, identification and recommendation of the latest technologies, web hosting and design, posting modifications to the web site, testing and re-engineering of existing web pages, and maintenance of web sites.

Required Skills

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical field is required

• Must be a US citizen with either a current Secret clearance, or eligibility to obtain a secret clearance.

• Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II certification is required

• 5 years SharePoint experience

• 7+ years of development experience within the .NET framework (C#, VB, ASP, SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, and/ or JQuery) is required

Required Experience

The following skills/ experience are a plus:

• 5+ years' Microsoft Windows Server (to include PowerShell Scripting) is preferred

• 5+ years of development experience with Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (to include SSIS,SSRS and SSAS) is preferred

• Experience with SharePoint Farms and SharePoint migration

OSS is seeking a Web Application Developer to support our valued government customers, experienced in technologies such as MS .Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript. The work is based out of Huntsville, AL, and is anticipated to be hybrid telework/onsite, but may eventually be 100% onsite given the current Return to Office trend. This individual should be experienced in translating raw customer requirements into fully functioning solutions that meet or exceed those requirements, to include the associated requirements verification, development, test, user acceptance, deployment, training, and sustainment activities. • Gather, maintain, and automate customer requirements into reliable and intuitive solutions
• Debug/troubleshoot code to ensure reliability
• Support deployed solutions and the users involved

• Collaborate with other OSS developers to assist with other customers, sharing lessons learned
• Develop training materials and train users on solutions

• Minimum of 4 years web application development experience in tools such as MS .Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript
• User interface development and data visualization
• Debugging / Troubleshooting
• Ability to understand and automate customer requirements
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills
• Effective working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to attain Secret Security Clearance (required before starting)
