As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. You will report to a Supervisor and use a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reporting for all shipping and receiving activities. We have two Weekend Shifts available. The base hourly pay rate for this role is $26.72. In addition, you'll receive a $1.00 shift differential for the Weekend Shift.
**Available Weekend Shifts**
We are currently hiring for the following full-time shifts:
+ Split Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM
+ Night Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12:00 AM - 12:30 PM

**How you create impact**
+ Validate and record inbound and outbound data manually and systematically (WMS)
+ Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
+ Ensure accuracy, prepare and create pick list, packing list, and POD (Point of Delivery) recovery for inbound or outbound activities
+ Communicate with carriers, customer, operations, and management
+ Perform clerical responsibilities such as filing, inbound/outbound phone calls, use of radio, data entry
+ Verify and receive product into inventory
**What we would like you to bring**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment with at least one year of experience as a warehouse clerk
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of order entry systems
+ WMS and customer service experience

In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your typical shift will be Friday - Sunday, 12 PM - 12:30 AM. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customers.

+ Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies

+ Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
+ Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
+ Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
+ Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, product is counted, and all necessary records and reports are completed accurately and on time
+ Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
+ Implement continuous improvement action plans
+ Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed
**What we would like you to bring**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
+ 2 or more years in a supervisory role
+ Minimum one year of experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts is a plus
+ Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
