  • Strong experience in all areas of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Infrastructure is needed for an immediate contract to hire opportunity. Ideal candidates would have a good balance of experience in managing large infrastructure projects, leading software development projects (WEB), and deploying large packaged software implementations.
  • Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management), BYOD (Bring your own Device), or MAM (Mobile Application Management), with a focus on implementing enabling workforce mobility options including BYOD.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Systems/Software Implementation Life Cycle combined with a STRONG technical background is required. This is not a hands-on technical position but requires architecture experience to understand issues and technical hurdles, and to correlate those into project impact and deliverables.
  • Candidate should have prior technical experience to help drive technical meetings, impact design decisions, and understand technical obstacles. Prior experience can be as a Software Engineer, Development Manager, Network Engineer, Sys Admin, DBA, Technical BA, or related discipline.
  • Prior experience as an Enterprise Architect for package software implementations, network deployments, and large infrastructure environments is highly beneficial. Experience managing large infrastructure build outs, planning, design, and upgrades is a plus.
  • Participation and facilitation in vendor engagement reviews and proposal processes aligned with AT&T procurement and ITS VM processes.
  • Assist in establishing governance and development frameworks for mobile device, user, application, information, and experience enablement for employees, vendors, volunteers, and partners.
  • Work with ITS counterparts to facilitate requirements gathering from AT&T Business units, and support the implementation of the workforce mobility strategy, business case, funding, architecture & standards, and change management programs.
  • Socialize the workforce mobility strategy and operational support model with IT Operations.
  • Facilitate prioritization and remediation of enterprise-wide apps for mobile use that automate or extend business processes.
  • The candidate will be discovering problems, analyzing, architecting solutions, documenting, and presenting to clients.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills; expert in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with budgets; technical background to support solution design (network integration, customization for mobility connections).
  • Managing 6-10 customer accounts per month.
  • Travel up to 20%, not on a constant basis.
  • This is a technical/business architect position, not an engineer role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
