Base rate is $35.38 with an additional 10% shift differential for evenings and nights .
DUTIES:
- Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted.
- Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
- Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
- May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
- Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual Mandarin/English
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Valid LPN State license.
- Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Job Summary
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be critical to the smooth operations of our fast-paced clinic, combining clinical and administrative skills to deliver top-notch patient care. Your role will involve managing appointments, ensuring patient satisfaction, and coordinating key administrative tasks, all while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with a professional and friendly attitude at the front desk.
- Manage high patient volume while maintaining excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient check-ins and check-outs, and update patient records using our electronic medical records (EcW) system.
- Facilitate patient flow, ensuring minimal wait times while maintaining an exceptional level of service.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about Nao Medical services.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless operations and an optimal patient experience.
- Support administrative duties as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Education & Skills:
- High school diploma or Associate degree.
- Prior experience in high-volume customer service, healthcare, or sales is strongly preferred.
- Outstanding multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Display adaptability, responsiveness, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in sales or customer service is ideal, with the confidence to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Empathetic & Adaptable: A team player with exceptional communication skills, ready to thrive in diverse situations.
Bilingual: Spanish-English fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience

Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- Obtain patient signatures for required documents
- Upload a valid Government issued state ID of patient and patient insurance cards
- Accurate and complete occupational medicine registration workflow
- File and maintain medical records
- Consistently correct registration work queue errors
- Confirms and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Perform referral documentation promptly
- Working daily in the claims edit work queue to correct registration errors for submission to insurance companies
- Performs certain follow-up services for patients in a prompt and courteous manner, such as scheduling specialist appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments and obtaining copies of lab results or specialist reports
- Adhere to the standards identified via Sparq regarding Optum Employee Policies
- Work cohesively with fellow employees to achieve specific team goals
- Keep abreast of current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Comfortable working in a high pace environment
- Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the Plan of Care
- Assure the continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systems
- Provide effective communication to patient / family team members and other health care professionals as evidenced by documentation, case conferences, communication notes, and evaluations
- Notify clinical staff of schedule changes as they occur
- Comply with administrative policies to ensure quality of care
