Restaurant cashiers play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by providing efficient and friendly service in a fast-paced environment. You would be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, accurately processing payments, and ensuring high-quality food service. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!
Job Functions :
- General customer service duties including, but not limited to, taking customer food orders, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs.
- Balancing a cash register and offering additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Accurately and safely prepare customer orders from various preparation points within the kitchen to include, but not limited to, a sandwich making line, a fry station, a grill station, or other station depending on the restaurant concept type.
- Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety conditions within the restaurant to ensure delivery of a fresh and safe product to the customer.
- Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

+ Ensure that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate.
+ Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.
+ Prepare the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information.
+ Answer the phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.
+ Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.
+ Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method as required.
**Skills:**

+ Self-motivated to achieve and exceed targeted goals
+ Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems. Ability to multi-task on these systems while engaging with the customer in person and/or over the phone.

Job Description
**Family Dollar is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.**
**General Summary**
As a Family Dollar Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Key priorities include greeting customers, assisting them with selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise.
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Provides customer engagement in positive and approachable manner.
- Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience.
- Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
- Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store.
- Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
- Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.
**Position Requirements:**
**_Education:_** Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
**_Experience:_** Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.
**_Physical Requirements:_** Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accomodation.
**_Availability:_** Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
