Responsibilities

Client Relationships :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships by addressing complex tax matters and providing strategic financial and tax advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify client challenges and opportunities.

Tax Services :

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of individual, business, and estate tax filings.
  • Ensure filings comply with regulations and are submitted on time.
  • Research tax issues, stay updated on tax law changes, and develop strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Help design, test, evaluate, and adopt new processes and technologies as they become available.

Leadership & Development :

  • Assist leadership in shaping the practice’s tax and bookkeeping services and managing a large team of tax professionals.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and cultivating a collaborative culture.
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes and adopt new technologies.

Requirements

  • CPA, EA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of tax or financial accounting experience, including client-facing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

**About the Role**
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our Finance team and support the reporting and consolidations function for our leading Cyber Security SaaS business. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to enhance visibility into business performance and improve financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Consolidation:
+ Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all entities and business units.
+ Maintain management reporting dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to provide insights into company performance.
+ Assist in preparing Board and Executive reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow consolidations.
+ Partner with Accounting to bridge GAAP financials to management reporting views, ensuring alignment between financial and operational metrics. Forecasting & Budgeting
+ Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process, ensuring accurate data consolidation and scenario analysis.
+ Assist in long-term financial planning by modeling revenue growth, expense trends, and cash flow forecasting. Financial Analysis & Process Improvement
+ Perform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast vs. budget), identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for business performance improvement.
+ Develop and automate financial models to support business decision-making and drive efficiency.
+ Improve reporting systems, tools, and processes, leveraging BI tools and financial planning software.
+ Support ad hoc financial analysis, including M&A support and scenario modeling.
Qualifications & Skills:
+ 4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
+ Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting methodologies.
+ Experience with SaaS financial metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC, Gross Margins, etc.).
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and FP&A software (such as Adaptive Insights).
+ Experience with ERP systems (D365, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) is preferred.
+ Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Operations.

Our Real Estate Tax Practice is comprised of a dedicated team of tax professionals strategically positioned across the country providing top notch tax consulting services to our clients. As a senior in our practice, you'll work on multiple tax engagements and will contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning and compliance services for our real estate industry clients. **Your key responsibilities**
Your main priority will be providing first-level reviews of tax returns, all while constantly keeping in touch with our clients. You'll be looking at, and analyzing complex tax issues and structures, so everything will come down to producing outstanding work. And with plenty of variety, it's certain that you'll always have innovative ideas and processes to keep you focused.

+ Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
+ A CPA certification or be a member of a state bar.
+ CPA required for advancement
+ A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
+ Knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REIT taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
+ A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization
+ Technical writing and research experience in a tax context
+ The ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
+ Influencing skills, and the confidence to question existing processes

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $80,700 to $33,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 96,800 to 151,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
