Job Summary The Geisinger Skilled Nursing Program is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to rotate between Mountain Top Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Mountain Top, Birchwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and Lakewood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Nanticoke, PA.
Job Duties

This positionis as a Geisinger provider in a contracted skilled nursing facility and r equires an experienced advanced practitioner, prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility, family medicine, internal medicine or ICU.The advanced practitioner (AP) provides direct (hands-on) care in skilled nursing facilities with a goal to improve quality and prevent unnecessary re-admissions to the acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Review reports
  • Communicate with SNF staff for patient needs
  • Treat patients for acute needs, admissions, discharges, etc.
  • Manage extremely complex patients, see every day or at least once a week
  • Approximately 12 patients a day
  • Length of time per patient and number of patients is per need

Education Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Job Description:
As a Cath Lab Tech, you’ll assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting physicians, managing imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout complex procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures

  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures

  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures

  • Scrub in and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases

  • Maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols

  • Accurately document procedures and patient information

Requirements:

  • ARRT or RCIS certification required

  • Active state license or eligibility where applicable

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience

  • Proficiency in fluoroscopy, EKG, and sterile technique

  • Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced procedural environments
