This position is considered a temporary position for up to one hundred and twenty (120) days.
The hourly rate will remain at $60.00.

LAMC will assist with housing if necessary.
You are eligible for mileage for your initial trip and for a trip home and back twice a month.
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicated patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

Certifications:
All applicants must be current in BLS, ACLS and PALS upon hire.

Position Summary:
This position supervises daily staff activities for the Labor and Delivery Department.
Essential Functions:

- Performs performance evaluations and manages all coaching and disciplinary actions for staff in collaboration with CNO and People Services.

Position Summary:
This position provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Essential Functions:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Licenses: Current NM RN license or appropriate compact licensure to start
- Certifications:
- BLS upon hire
- Must obtain NRP and ACLS within six months of hire or transfer into position
- Will be required to obtain Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring within one year from hire or transfer into position.
- STABLE Certification preferred
- New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association certifications. Notwithstanding this €˜grace period' for obtaining American Heart Association certifications, employees are not excused from being current in any and all existing certifications that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.
