About the Position:

During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member’s current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. This provides unmatched insight into a member’s overall health and well-being that can be difficult to capture during routine office visits.  The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit.

Matrix Provider – What to Expect :

• Conduct Adult/Geriatric Assessments, medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols
• Work collaboratively with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers and any ancillary medical personnel as appropriate
• Collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education, provide follow-up
• Provide services in a variety of venues to include: Home Visits, Skilled Facility Visits,

Type: PRN - Flexible

PAY:  Earn from $,200 up to 11,000 per month (Based on an average of 20-100 completed visits per month, and pay of 110.00 per completed assessment).  Compensation range is based on availability and assessment completion.

Location: Home, SNF, and other community environments in Bluefield, Virginia

Hours : Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Flexible Scheduling

Benefits : PRN providers are non-benefited except for 401(k) and limited Voluntary Benefits

Must Haves:

• Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure
• Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of PA licensure
• Current RN and NP or PA licensure in state of practice to include prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority
• Board certified by the NCCPA, AANP, ANCC or the AACCN in a Matrix approved specialty

As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently, experience assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, as well as working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. Duties & responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and set reserves
• Estimates cost of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents
• Analyze and interpret medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims process to ensure efficient resolution
• Interview, collect and document information from various people such as claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

Must-have qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling
• This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Location : Open to claims offices located in Virginia Beach, Richmond, Charlottesville, Newport News, Roanoke, Stafford, Leesburg, and Alexandria. 

Licensing : This position will primarily handle VA claims, but at times may require the handling of NC claims. Therefore, the selected candidate(s) will be required to obtain an Adjusters License for NC and SC.
