Essential Functions: · Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray. · Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images with CT Room. · Able to adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition. · Adjust patient positioning in order to acquire the best images based on anatomical structures. Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure to maximum patient protection (ALARA). · Process images in PACS for the Radiologist. · Complete exams per Radiologist protocols. · Document, charge, and process with electronic medical records. · Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor. · Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams. · Involved with quality control concerning equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety. · Ensure that exams are completed in timely and correct manner. · Provide Customer Service to patients, and staff. Minimum Qualifications: · Required Credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT) · Preferred Experience: 1 year experience working as a CT or X-Ray technologist. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
