Unit Summary:
The Emergency Department provides basic well exams, lifesaving procedures, and treatment of all types trauma and illness. Our ED has seen steady growth since opening in the new building, seeing almost 35,000 patients each year in the 22 bed ED alone averaging 95 patients per day.
Position Summary:
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, assesses and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in nursing, required
KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 month of hire & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 month of hire
TNCC within 1 year hire

Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises, teaches, and delegates to other personnel in the performance of activities related to nursing care.

Unit Summary:
Last year, Clark Regional Medical Center broke ground on an expansion for the intensive care unit (ICU). The expansion signifies a 75% increase in capacity for the ICU, adding six beds to the eight that are currently available. The new construction also includes the expansion of an advanced care unit (ACU) and build-out space for a new surgical suite, enabling Clark Regional to expand surgery as the needs of the community demand.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree Nursing (ADN): Required and validated by the presence of a current RN License; Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN): Preferred
License: Current Registered Nurse to practice/work in the state of KY

Unit Summary:
Last year, Clark Regional Medical Center broke ground on an expansion for the intensive care unit (ICU). The expansion signifies a 75% increase in capacity for the ICU, adding six beds to the eight that are currently available. The new construction also includes the expansion of an advanced care unit (ACU) and build-out space for a new surgical suite, enabling Clark Regional to expand surgery as the needs of the community demand.
Position Summary:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Nursing, required
- KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
