The Test Technology Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern. We're looking for an individual to support field testing with the Sensors and Electronic Devices staff at Kirtland Air Force Base, ARA Moriarty Range, and White Sands Missile Range locations. The candidate will support installing instrumentation, troubleshooting (to include PLC programming), and cabling and connector building of our field experiments. Strong interests in innovation and problem solving as part of a team are required.
The successful applicant will have the desire to grow their expertise in many different engineering skills and apply to real world problems. The candidate will learn about data acquisition, circuit testing and troubleshooting of legacy and new electro-mechanical systems.
Duties will include reporting to the engineering staff, building circuits, field activities at a variety of test sites, downloading and interpreting preliminary data, and troubleshooting field experiments. The position is currently seeking a 10-15 hour commitment each week during the semester with additional working hours available during breaks.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a broad array of equipment in a multitude of environments to develop strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in operations research, systems analysis, or management sciences.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field requiring significant mathematics and/or statistics.
- Capable of working with the technical or engineering teams to ensure proper support.
- Able to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
- Experience collecting and analyzing data and develop decision support software, services, or products.
- Experience supporting NC3 or Air Force enterprise programs desired.

**Overview**
Bowhead seeks a Modeling/Simulation Analyst to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) in Albuquerque, NM.
**Responsibilities**
- Serves as baseline modeling and simulation analyst
- Accesses data, conducts all M&S functions and provides deliverables up to the SECRET classification level
- Under supervision, conducts modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to, exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to, health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies (Simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools)
- Conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government to include information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, model and simulation support planning, model and simulation data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation
- Provides instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises and may support live, constructive, or virtual training
- Utilizes RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas (Modeling software includes: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), and other modeling and simulation programs as needed)
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- BA/BS in modeling and simulation, computer science, math or other related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (prior military simulation or wargame experience preferred)
Desired:
- Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent
Must currently hold a Secret security clearance.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

The Test Technology Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has a full-time position for a **Program Financial Analyst** . The individual must be skilled in project accounting, program control, cost analysis, budget tracking, and forecasting, and must have knowledge in government accounting practices with the ability to read government lines of accounting to identify key elements of funding type and status. Applicant must be able to compile and analyze data from different formats to prepare the monthly and quarterly financial reports for the client. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and two to four years of related work experience. The successful candidate must have strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of the Deltek Cost Point Accounting System is a plus.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Computing monthly and quarterly financial reports to contract specifications.
+ Tracking received funding by ACRN and CLIN

+ Maintaining the cost estimating workbook for proposals.

This position requires good working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
