Unit Details:

BP6 is a 28 bed Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit that includes a diversity of services including General Surgery, Bariatric, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery, and Trauma Surgery. We have many resources on our unit including a pharmacist, care manager/social worker, and scheduler to support unit based needs. In addition, we have a wound ostomy team and an IV team available throughout the hospital for added support. Team members have the benefit of a shared schedule in which we partner together to complete a final schedule based on unit needs.

GP2 is a 24 bed Medical Surgical Observation Unit designed to provide high-quality, personalized care to patients who require evaluation and treatment for a period between 12 to 48 hours.

This is a very dynamic unit which treats conditions such as; syncope, acute kidney injury, abdominal pain, generalized weakness, chest pain, UTI’s, TIA and COPD.  The nursing staff on the Medical Observation Unit work closely with the Physician staff, Care Management and other departments to closely coordinate the care needs of the patients.

This is a flex position where a minimum of 24 hours of availability, on every 4 week-schedule, is required. This availability and coverage must be to fill 24 hours of core needs. Flex employees are required to work a minimum of eight (8) hours per schedule on a weekend (Fri, Sat, or Sun), or on a holiday or alternate shift.

Unit Details:

HFAM6 is a 30 private room post surgical care, mostly orthopaedic, advanced acute care, telemetry unit offering a challenging and professional work environment.  We care for a diverse adult population that may include trauma, orthopedic, and/or general medical/surgical. We have (2) bariatric rooms with overhead lifts, (2) negative pressure rooms, and an on-site patient gym to partner with physical and occupational therapy. Our unit care delivery model is primary nursing care through the use of RNs, LPNs and Nursing Assistants who work in a teaming environment.

AGP4 is a 27 bed unit that has a major focus on the neurosciences. Neurosurgery patients can include craniotomies, cervical and lumbar surgeries, as well as brain and spinal tumors.  The focus in neurology can vary from stroke/TIA’s to neuromuscular disorders, Guillain-Barré syndrome, MS and chronic migraines. 

There is a 6-bed epilepsy unit that utilizes continuous EEG monitoring for our seizure patients and their needs. 

The nursing staff is also flexible enough to navigate and take care of other medical/surgical and telemetry patients. This patient population can range from chronic COPD and CHF patients to GI Bleed, orthopedic, general surgery and trauma patients.
