- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting

- Utilize electronic health records system (ED Paragon) for documentation and patient management
- Participate in self-scheduling through the app "When to Work"

**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Emergency Department, with at least 1 year of travel experience preferred
- **Certifications:** Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications
- **Skills:** Strong ability to efficiently manage a team of patients with varying acuity levels; demonstrate a keen awareness of patient status and swift response capability in critical situations
- **Personality Fit:** Team-oriented, friendly, hardworking, and easy-going

**Schedule:**

Shift: 5x8s or 4x10s (M–F) + Call
Call Requirements: 1 weekday per week + every 3rd weekend
Travel Radius Requirement: Must reside 60+ miles away to qualify as travel

Duties Responsibilities

As part of the telemetry unit, Telemetry Nurses (RN) provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood-oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. These machines then send data to computer screens for nurses to monitor. Telemetry Nurses read and interpret the data to better determine patient care.

• Provide care for patients by comfortably connecting them to machines that measure blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate, blood-oxygen level, and electrocardiogram information.
• Monitor and interpret data to assess any potential health problems and needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintaining accurate medical records.
