About the Role
EKD Strategies is hiring a remote Data Analyst to support our growing data and reporting needs. You’ll manage and maintain master data, develop meaningful reports, and help ensure data accuracy across the company. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and love turning numbers into insights, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
Maintain and manage master data (create, update, delete)
Ensure high-quality data imports and provide QA support
Build and design reports and dashboards
Manage user access, roles, and metadata
Support data warehouse and reporting system enhancements
Troubleshoot data issues and reporting errors
Provide insight for business decisions through clean, reliable data
Collaborate with teams on new system implementations and upgrades

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a data analyst role (or similar)
Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Compensation:

How you'll contribute

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives. Must be able to float to all areas within surgery, especially OR.

Essential Functions

Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.

Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.

Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.

Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.

Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.

Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Department/Unit Summary

Our general surgery staff consists of expert surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and technicians all dedicated to performing successful operations and promoting comfortable healing and recovery. Our most common surgical services consist of endo, ortho, and pain procedures. Due to the high volume of outpatient procedures, our surgery staff do not work weekends or holidays.

  • 7 Pre/Op Infusion Rooms

  • 2 OR Suites

  • 1 Endo Suite

  • 1 PACU Bay

How you'll contribute

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and supports unit coordination activities to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives. Must be able to float to all areas within surgery, especially OR.

Essential Functions

Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.

Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.

Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.

Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.

Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.

Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.

Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • 1-2 years minimum experience as a Surgery RN

  • 2-4 years critical care experience preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire

  • Handle with Care to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually

  • TNCC preferred
