This multi-site healthcare clinic has been serving its local community for more than 20 years, providing full scope primary care. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a primary care position in a traveling mobile health unit, seeing patients of all ages with an emphasis on adult and geriatric care.
The mobile unit is a 40-foot, solar-powered clinic on wheels that serves a 25-mile geographic area encompassing the Wickenburg community. The mobile unit has a dedicated driver, fully trained medical assistant, and is equipped with:
- exam room
- telehealth capabilities
- imaging equipment
- and more
The provider will see a variable number of patients per day (typically between 15 and 20 visits) with administrative time built into the schedule.
All work is within the area of standard primary care appropriate to a mobile setting:
- annual check-ups
- physicals
- chronic disease management
- sick / injury visits
The mobile unit is equipped with the practice s EHR system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA
- 1+ year advanced practice experience required
- 1+ year primary care, urgent care, or related experience preferred
- community health experience preferred
