The Work
The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for complex business and system analysis, design, coding, and testing for current and proposed enterprise application environments.
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct translation of business area customer information into detailed enterprise application design
-
Interact with SAP Functional Consultants and client team members to perform analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations
-
Conduct the preparation of programming specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enterprise application modifications and installations
-
Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
-
Facilitate technical design review meetings; document and submit meeting minutes
-
Provide guidance and support for custom development and data conversion
-
Support unit, integration, and UAT testing; provide documentation for work performed
-
Support production cutover and provide documentation for work performed
-
Support post-go-live hypercare and maintain documentation
Here’s what you need:

7+ years SAP ECC or S/4HANA ABAP development experience
-
Proficiency in Fiori development and SAP Migration Cockpit
-
S/4HANA project experience
-
Aerospace & Defense or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO project experience
-
Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
Nice to have:

Relevant SAP certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of an active Secret Clearance

You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or Philadelphia, PA ORbe willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday-Friday

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
