As a member of the PDM team, this associate will support data analytics and controls, business partner education and consultation including support for research and ad hoc requests, financial transparency into Profit/ABC and General Ledger (GL) differences, change projects, and process improvements. Primary area of support will be Activity Based Costing studies and consultation with our business partners across the Enterprise, development of existing and new business and customer processes to be represented in Profit/ABC, and transforming GL expenses to customer experience sales, fulfillment, service activities.
**Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities of the Role:
+ Resolve issues that affect production, broadcast, and content distribution networks, including system outages, malfunctions, and related technical problems, as well as to conduct diagnostic testing, repair, and perform replacement activities necessary to solve routine, specialized, and complex problems.
+ Analyze and troubleshoot streaming audio/video signals in traditional SDI and IP 2110 essence flow routing environments.
+ Specify and procure equipment, supplies, and materials for media technology systems within budget guidelines; receive and maintain equipment and supplies.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures regarding technology facilities, with a focus on maximizing the integration of all systems to meet business, marketing, and entertainment goals.
+ Provide operational support of all activities related to operating, maintaining, and programming audio and video production/distribution systems across the enterprise and other connected properties.
+ Utilize system software health and performance monitoring platforms; troubleshoot and participate in repairing system problems and failures, participate in maintenance of systems, install software patches, updates etc., to resolve and avoid service problems, and troubleshoot system issues as they relate to these services.

**Responsibilities:**
The candidate should have strong experience in a newsroom/control-room environments, have an understanding of current events, be able to juggle multiple breaking news stories at once, as well as have a very strong understanding of all facets of live video production. In addition, the candidate will:
+ Ensure Live Event Coordination with the News Services team and ABC News Live Editorial teams
+ Build dynamic editorial headlines for side boxes in coordination with show editorial teams
+ Manage Promo inventory by coordinating with relevant parties and ensuring that content stays up to date.
+ Ensure taped content and programming running on ABC News Live is up to date and monitor and purge dated materials
+ Assist in channel management by promo replacement, schedule adjustment, cut and adjust shows for length, off hour production
+ Work with Super Desk to bring in/clear content during dynamic breaking news events
+ Work with Audience Development, ABCNL and Product teams to update Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) when necessary.

+ Plan for future events including building relevant graphics for long tail events (trials, major hearings)
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 2 years of robust live video production experience. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
+ Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends, while thriving under daily deadline pressures.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 4 years' experience handling live video for news production.
+ Master control and media management experience.
