The Opportunity
Brand, Product, and Affiliated Distribution (BP&AD) manages MassMutual’s largest sales channel, a network of about 7,000 financial advisors across the U.S, helping their clients secure their financial future through an array of insurance and wealth management solutions. The Team

- Inform SLT and ELT decision-making through Strategy Projects

- 1+ year of experience leveraging data including a familiarity with data analytics techniques and being able to analyze to draw out insights and implications
- 1+ year of experience creating simple, powerful, and data-driven communications for senior leaders
- Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities
Develop analyses related to ministry market strategic positioning, market conditions, service lines, competitor actions, and volume/market share trends.
- Serve as a general analytics and strategic intelligence resource.
- Conduct periodic market-level scans, market assessments and analyses for the ministry market's Integrated Strategic, Operational and Financial Plan.
- Develop key analytic inputs to the ministry market's long-term strategic plan, ambulatory strategies, service line plans and capital project business plans.
- Conduct analysis required to support the identification of gaps, variation and duplication of services within the ministry market's clinically integrated system of care.
- Conduct research and analyses required to support the master facility planning process, including utilization forecasts, capacity analyses and in-migration/out-migration studies.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.

Job Summary This position is responsible for supporting divisional short and long-term initiatives related to Medicaid provider network strategy and leverage analytics to drive provider network solutions. This position will support major, complex, and strategic network initiatives from inception to completion. This position will analyze Medicaid network data using internal and external sources to support the prioritization of divisional initiatives and track progress to goals. This position will identify network trends and insights while interacting with all levels of cross-functional management.Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment.
- Experience formulating strategy with ability to build strong connections with matrixed business partners.
- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal, written and visual channels
- Ability to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.
- Analytical, program management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Medicaid provider networks, key performance indicators, quality indices, trends, and financial acumen.
- Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience digesting and solutioning for complex conceptual and operational problems.
- Ability to articulate complex information to external and internal stakeholders in a simple and straightforward manner.
- Ability to proactively identify and help to resolve complex problems with some oversight.
- Ability to see and understand the "big picture".
- Strong desire to be a part of high energy, positive, and collaborative team culture.
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
