The Work:
As a Head of Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform Hosting & DevOps, you will be responsible for:
+ Hosting Strategy & Delivery:
+ Lead multi-cloud ALIP hosting operations (AWS, Azure), ensuring resilience, scalability, compliance, and security across all environments.
+ Lead cross-functional coordination with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to support new client implementations and platform evolution.
+ Own the incident response, change management, and environment reliability frameworks for ALIP-hosted clients.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for Hosting & DevOps with ALIP clients, managing expectations and delivering on commitments.
+ DevOps & Platform Engineering:
+ Build and evolve modern CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps frameworks, and automation strategies that enable rapid, secure delivery of ALIP updates and new features.
+ Ensure high availability, security, and compliance (SOC2, ISO, etc.) across all hosted environments.
+ Establish infrastructure and cost optimization strategies for hosting clients and development environments.
+ Evaluate and select technologies and partners for infrastructure upgrades, observability tools, and hosting automation
+ Client Solutions & Sales Support:Act as a senior technology leader in pursuits-explaining the ALIP hosting value proposition, leading solution design, and supporting technical estimation and proposal development.
+ Costing, Pricing & Contracting:Drive detailed infrastructure sizing, cost modeling, and contractual inputs for hosted offerings, ensuring profitability and clarity in scope and service terms.
+ Team & Financial Leadership:Manage a global team of 40+ engineers across DevOps, SRE, and CloudOps; own financial planning, P&L, and vendor oversight.
+ Innovation & Emerging Tech:Champion new technologies (e.g. serverless, AI for ops) to drive continuous improvement and competitive differentiation.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need
+ Minimum of 10 years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering leadership
+ Minimum of 7 years of deep expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, EC2, EKS, CI/CD, automation and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001).
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

OUR HYBRID WORKPLACE
Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely.
