SCOPE OF POSITION

This is a full-time, in-person position based at one of our office locations in Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, or Charleston.

The Account Management Data Analyst drives key global projects within the Account Management Program, leveraging data insights to support decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive sustainable business growth. This role is responsible for executing the technical roadmap, developing scalable data solutions, and delivering high-impact reporting for executive leadership.

The ideal candidate must be an independent worker with a passion for data, a strong desire to learn, and an ability to develop innovative ways to analyze and present data in a real-world environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with large and complex data sets, applying strong data analysis skills and technology. A high level of attention to detail, strong research abilities, and proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools are essential.

The scope of the Account Management Program includes:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis & Reporting Solutions

  • Develop and implement reporting solutions to drive data-driven business decisions.

  • Integrate and stage external data sources for sustainable reporting.

  • Define and track KPIs to measure program success.

  • Design, implement, and maintain reports using third-party and in-house reporting tools, including Power BI, Excel, and InetSoft.

  • Build interactive reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and other reporting platforms to visualize key insights.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify business trends, patterns and anomalies and communicate findings effectively.

  • Prepare, review, and analyze internal and external reports, including KPIs and sales. performance/recognition reports, and present insights to the sales team.

  • Overcome data challenges by sourcing from multiple warehouses and external sources.

  • Maintain and optimize database structures for efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Expertise

  • Act as a business stakeholder in IS development efforts.

  • Align with internal teams to improve reporting solutions.

  • Research and implement new data tools and platforms.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science) is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a sales or financial environment.

  • Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred:

As Senior Manager, Business Development , you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by assisting our team in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities within the Administration and Enforcement Business Area and related markets across, but not limited to GSA, US Courts, Department of State, Senate Senate/House/Capitol. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of these sectors, and their partner agencies, including organizational structure, mission priorities, and general procurement approaches. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the information technology drivers within these agencies and the federal government marketspace. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge to develop customer and partner engagement plans and provide Maximus leadership with marketplace aligned recommendations in road-mapping and executing go-to-market tactical and strategic plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pricing, solution development, staffing, key staff sourcing, privacy and security.
- Contribute to the quantitative win rates for core, new and adjacent markets, ensuring alignment with the priorities and goals of the group and segment.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, both long and short term.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide business development support within the Administration and Enforcement Business Area throughout the new business capture lifecycle, including but not limited to opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development.

- Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to formulate, communicate, and implement an integrated business development and capture strategy that provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting Maximus for an award.

- Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities that support Administration and Enforcement's business area and Division growth goals within Federal Civilian.

- Engage with customer agencies, assist in the development and implementation of campaign plans and strategies, maintain a firm comprehension of the customer's requirements, understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors, and develop/implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.

- Perform business development services including networking and research to increase business and maintain a current knowledge base of opportunities.

- Meet with current and potential clients to understand customer mission needs relative to Maximus capabilities and solutions.

- Participate in trade shows, associations, and other industry or government-related groups as required.

- Execute opportunity-specific call plans collaborating with technical staff to test and vet potential solutions with customers.

- Support the development of white papers, proposals, solutions, plans of action, business plans, and marketing materials.

- Maintain open and collaborative communications between Capture Teams, Sector Operations Lead, Growth Organization, and CTO throughout the pursuit of new business opportunities and organic expansion into the marketplace.

- Lead capture for small and subcontracted deals.

- Participate in strategy, technical, and pricing reviews.

- Act as the voice of the customer providing customer insight and market intelligence throughout the opportunity life cycle.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of education.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

- Must have broad working knowledge of Federal Government IT needs (e.g., enterprise IT, communications, cloud, cyber, ITIL-based IT service management, agile delivery practices, applications modernization, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies)

- Must have Federal government contracting policies and procedures experience

- Direct business development activities experience is a must.

- Demonstrated experience gaining sustained customer interactions both with known customer and new customers.

- Ability to travel 5% in the DC/MD/VA area.

**Your Impact**

What will your job look like?

The Vendor Account Manager has ultimate responsibility for delivering a high level of service to our vendors every day, ensuring high operational standards and vendor satisfaction within an assigned geographic area. The Vendor Account Manager owns the day-to-day interaction with the vendors, acting as an Account Manager to build and sustain strong working relationships with cross-functional departments and assigned Providers.  The Vendor Account Manager also acts as the single point of contact for vendor escalations and ensures appropriate resolution.  This role is key to the success of a successful relationship with our Transportation Providers.

Location: Must reside in the state of South Carolina. Travel to local vendors is required. This position is contingent upon contract award

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the Transportation Provider (TP) to follow through on service issues, troubleshooting problems and concerns, complaints and education

  • Utilize data to develop and deliver performance improvement plans (PIP), and when needed, assess liquidated damages or termination

  • Coordinate and conduct provider performance evaluations

  • Conduct off boarding for providers not meeting standard expectations

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all vendor service requests and escalations

  • Own the day-to-day vendor interaction and satisfaction

  • Conduct on site vehicle inspections and provider audits to verify compliance with MTM and HIPAA guidelines, including random safety audits or observations

  • Deliver timely, accurate and professional operational support to all vendors within a specified geographic area and Service Level Agreements

  • Demonstrate proactive leadership by working with internal MTM teams and external client teams, when necessary, to ensure complete resolution of TP issues

  • Demonstrate proficiency by providing effective consultation to TP’s and guidance to internal team members

  • Manage and maintain credentialing compliance in accordance with MTM client contracts

  • Recognize opportunities to educate TP’s contacts on MTM processes when necessary

  • Work with the Transportation Manager to reduce transportation costs

  • Build and sustain a strong working partnership with assigned transportation providers

  • Assist with/participate/facilitate regular provider town hall meetings

  • Handle inbound service requests and ensure that they are properly assigned or addressed

  • Liaise with other internal departments as required to resolve vendor’s issues and questions

  • Provide ongoing support to transportation providers regarding claims, payments, eligibility, utilization management or any other questions impacting provider performance

  • Meet or exceed assigned KPI’s and business objectives

  • Meet all provider compliance requirements, including but not limited to inspections, audits and credentialing, ensuring non-compliant Vendors are not performing services for MTM

  • Submit provider configuration changes to data management team and partner with them to ensure vendor is set up properly in the systems
