**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant/ Cost Accountant / Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting inventory and fixed asset management, and providing financial insights for operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in a manufacturing or inventory-driven environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
+ Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for designated functional areas.
+ Lead budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
+ Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and commentary.
+ Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
+ Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure seamless inventory management processes.
+ Provide financial support for special projects such as cost analysis, internal/external audits, manufacturing surveys, and ad-hoc requests.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and assist in implementing new internal controls as needed.
+ Track and report on slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
+ Monitor fixed assets and capital projects, ensuring proper accounting and reporting.
+ Calculate and analyze cost impacts of tariffs and other external factors.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA or CMA preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment.
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with (insert specific systems if applicable).
+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
+ Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Description:
+ Manage the personal accounting for a variety of the company's clients, both individuals and trusts. This includes preparing journal entries and finalizing personal financial statements on a monthly basis. This also includes completing a quarterly reporting package with detailed financial analyses, for example, budget vs. actual spending summaries.
+ Within twelve months, recommend a new personal financial report, analysis, or graphic to be included with the quarterly reporting package for the individual or trust clients which you manage.
+ Manage the annual financial reporting, administration of grants, and recording of documentation for a private foundation. This includes preparation of federal and state tax filings and calculation of the required minimum charitable distributions.
+ Within six months, assume responsibility for the company's cash management activities. + Work closely with CFO and President in any tax planning/modeling on behalf of our clients (e.g., estate planning, charitable tax planning, etc.)
+ Coordinate real estate tax payments, required annual state filings for LLCs, and draft responses to federal and state income tax notices, as needed.
+ Within six months, manage the annual calculation of after-tax investment returns for each of our underlying partnership investments (excluding private equity).
+ Complete a variety of ad hoc projects working directly with the company's President, CFO, Client Service Manager, or other team members on an as needed basis. This might include projects related to Corporate and Partnership Accounting, Private Equity & Compliance, Payroll, Administration, Debt and Liquidity Planning, or other analyses requested by the company's clients.

Essential Duties:
- Timely and accurately completes all assigned tasks necessary for the general ledger close at each month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycle
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Review financial reports and prepare analyses
- Timely preparation of assigned balance sheet account reconciliations
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Assistance with various financial reporting deliverables
- Compilation of inventory values and analysis of inventory changes including regular communication with those personnel in the field that are responsible for the physical inventory counts
- Maintain compliance and documentation of internal controls
- Collaboration with external auditors and the internal audit function regarding CC’s annual audit, and ongoing controls testing
- Analysis of business trends and communication with product managers and other business leaders regarding financial performance on various components of CC
- Development and implementation of process improvements with the goal of reducing the time to close the books while maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Timely completion of ad-hoc project work, as assigned
