Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for completing daily tasks related to managing the accounts payable and receivable functions for numerous clients managed by Spectrum AM. Our business is fast-paced and rapidly growing, which requires dedicated team collaboration to complete the large volume of daily work on time and with exceptional accuracy.
Post incoming homeowner, builder and developer payments and other income to CINC accounts.
Establish new customer accounts and transfers.
Enter and update vendor data in CINC.
Receive and make outbound calls to/from community managers, vendors, developers, and builders to clarify requests, obtain documentation, and resolve issues.
Collaborate with team to ensure time service and quality goals are met.
Develop strong relationships with internal community managers to support client’s bookkeeping needs.
Contribute to team projects and process improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or team lead.
Track accounts to ensure postings are correct and accounts are not billed unnecessarily.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Data entry experience in AP/AR/bookkeeping function is preferred.
High School diploma, College degree preferred or some college work with comparable work experience.
Basic accounting knowledge preferred

Strong attention to detail with quick, consistent, and highly accurate data entry speed.
Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision as well as collaboratively as a team member.
Strong computer skills and technical aptitude, including adaptability to changing technology and systems, with confidence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with customers and team.
Intermediate working knowledge of Excel is preferred.
Intrinsically motivated to provide exceptional customer service in writing and over the phone while communicating in a professional and helpful manner.
Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods of time, at a fast pace, while maintaining accuracy.
Is eager to continuously learn, as well as open to innovative ways of producing results.

- Prepare and deliver accurate billing for various company operations, including software sales and miscellaneous items.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and minimize outstanding invoices.
- Monitor and report Accounts Receivable aging to management, highlighting any problematic accounts.
- Investigate and resolve client inquiries regarding payments, invoice discrepancies, and account adjustments.
- Process lien waivers, write-downs, and other necessary client documentation requests.

This role will perform Accounts Payable reporting and data analysis to support both corporate wide and departmental operational and compliance needs. The successful candidate will proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and provide optimal support for stakeholders. Additionally, this role supports annual 1099 and 1042 Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reporting and compliance efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Collects, compiles, analyzes, and verifies financial and other data to ensure the integrity of accounting records.
+ Assists with analysis and schedules in support of financial statements.
+ Creates and records journal entries and/or other transactions directly or indirectly impacting the financials, maintains general ledger, and reconciles accounts.
+ Ensures the integrity of financial transactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Support accounting processes by addressing and assisting with fulfilling business requirements.
+ Support and follow standard business processes within specific accounting function.
+ Supports and fulfills internal and external audit requests.
+ Ensures proper execution of controls and performance, documentation, and retention in accordance with accounting policy.
+ Displays ability to utilize systems/tools, which may include, but not limited to, Excel, SAP, Right Angle, BW, Quorum, etc.
+ May document, update, and maintain internal procedures or work on simple special projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. Accounting preferred.

+ PowerBI experience preferred.
