Skills, Experience and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Adaptable, excellent time management, communication, troubleshooting and customer service
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $19.75/Hour

The Customer Activation Specialist is responsible for ensuring successful account activation for our new customers as well as maintenance of existing accounts. A successful and seamless implementation is critical to establishing the long-term success of an account. The Customer Activation Specialist works closely and cross-functionally with Emery Jensen sales teams and enterprise shared services daily to achieve successful account activations. The position is critical to Emery Jensen's growth and to achieving the commitment of being a company that is seamless to do business with.
What you will do.
+ Manage onboarding process for new customers from application to account activation.
+ Assist with New Customer activation processes related to EDI and POS setup.
+ Proactively monitor new and existing customer master data to ensure accuracy; develop ongoing auditing processes to validate customer master data and provide customers with a seamless experience
+ Represent EJD internally and cross-functionally as subject matter expert related to onboarding of new accounts and on customer master data.
+ Drive continuous improvement of the onboarding process, customer master data management and related activities to reduce time required to activate accounts
What you need to succeed.
+ 3 years of account management support or customer service experience.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (commensurate experience considered).
+ Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills with customers and colleagues from all impacted functional areas.
+ Detail-oriented and extremely organized self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines.
+ Expert user of Microsoft Office
+ Working knowledge of SAP
+ Working knowledge of DocuSign is a plus
+ Working knowledge of EDI is a plus
+ Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus

**Day to Day**
As a Client Activation Sales Specialist in our Scaled Business Success (SBS) team, you'll consult with prospective, new, and churned accounts in our small business segment, as you help them to activate their jobs on our website.
In this role, you'll receive daily prospects and have the opportunity to engage with clients through both phone and email channels. By effectively listening and understanding their unique needs, you'll be able to offer tailored solutions and present opportunities for their success in utilizing Indeed's products and services.
You will approach your interactions with clients with insight, respect, and an awareness of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
**Responsibilities**
+ Proactively contact new clients and prospects to present offers
+ Educate and position several Indeed products to maximize success for SMBs and help them through the onboarding journey
