The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and implementing complex mathematical models used for pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sophisticated quantitative models for financial products, including derivatives, fixed income, and equities.
  • Conduct rigorous back-testing and validation of existing models to ensure accuracy and robustness.
  • Analyze market data to identify trends and inform model development and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk managers to understand their modeling needs and provide solutions.
  • Prepare detailed documentation of models, methodologies, and assumptions.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in quantitative finance.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or C++ for model development and implementation.
  • Contribute to the firm's overall risk management framework through accurate modeling.
  • Communicate complex quantitative concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the firm's pricing libraries and risk systems.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, or risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience with financial modeling techniques and statistical analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and derivatives pricing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques applied to finance is advantageous.
