About the Team

The Ad Ops team at Roku plays a crucial role in driving the success of Roku's monetization strategy. This team is responsible for excellence in execution for our Direct IO and Programmatic businesses. This team books ad campaigns, QAs creatives, prepares reporting, and manages Deal IDs, using 1st and 3rd party ad tech. We are a very collaborative team, working closely with our Client Services, Inventory, and Product partners to meet advertisers' needs, while also optimizing and streamlining internal processes.

About the Role

We are seeking an Ad Operations Associate to join our growing ad operations team. As an Associate you will work closely with our Ad Ops, Tech Ops, Product and Programmatic Enablement teams to ensure teams are following process and ad campaign settings are aligned with our internal policies. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Ad Operations, located in NYC.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $103,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Use 1st and 3rd party tools to ensure creatives running in our ad servers are in compliance with our ad specifications
  • Schedule both direct sold and programmatic campaigns in Roku ad server and SSP
  • Validate creative running through our programmatic campaigns to identify violations to our acceptability guidelines
  • Partner with Inventory, Product, and Tech Ops teams to support integrations with new SSPs, tools, and technologies
  • Troubleshoot delivery, targeting, and creative issues across direct and programmatic campaigns, providing timely resolutions
  • Ensure campaigns are being properly captured in our internal reporting tools
  • Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support
  • Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects and reporting that will help drive revenue growth for Roku
We're Excited If You Have
  • 3 years experience in digital ad operations or QA at a publisher, an ad tech company, ad agency or ad network
  • Analytical, project management, deadline-driven, and process-oriented personality
  • Familiarity with OTT advertising a plus
  • Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
  • Experience with IAB VAST
  • Experience with DFP and digital ad serving tools for video and display
  • Familiarity with the digital ad sales process

About this role:

Atmosphere is looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to support the rapid growth of our Sales teams across the US (and beyond). This position will play an important role in the success of the company by managing digital video ad campaigns for our client advertisers.
This ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, incredibly well-organized, very comfortable with data, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, unfazed by tight deadlines, and willing to help us find better ways to do our work.

This position will be based in Austin out of our Austin HQ Office, and will report to the Sr. Manager, Ad Operations.
Supporting our West Coast operations, this role will work Pacific hours (11am-7pm CT) .

Responsibilities:

  • Build, launch, QA, and manage digital video ad campaigns.
  • Collect, traffic, and troubleshoot creative assets for new and existing campaigns.
  • Regularly review delivery data to identify, prevent, and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to Sales teams for all campaigns as needed.
  • Assist the Account Management team with pre-sale requests including inventory availability/forecasting and/or targeting options, with some strategic input.
  • Assist Account Management and Sales teams on custom advertising executions.
  • Support the development of best practices for the Ad Operations team.
  • Stay on top of advertising industry standards and trends and report back to the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience with ad servers and DSPs/SSPs such as Vistar, LKQD, SpringServe, GroundTruth, Hivestack, and/or GAM.
  • Understanding of digital media & advertising principles (marketing funnel, media rate types, programmatic media, etc.).
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel; very comfortable reviewing and explaining data; experience with data tools such as Tableau, Lookr, and/or Sigma is a plus.
  • Understanding of online advertising, strategy and analytics.
  • Excellent multi-tasker, detail-oriented, and well-organized; capable of juggling multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, and OMS/CRMs like Salesforce.
  • Driven to find improvements and efficiencies in their work.

DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS

  • Communicate traffic functions & capabilities back to internal & external customers
  • Monitor schedules, exception reports and work with Account Executives to recover any lost revenue
  • Ensure that all orders are entered completely & correctly and on time
  • Track client tapes using the traffic system; Maintain files on all paperwork and electronic orders
  • Assist Account Executives, Sales Management and technical staff to diagnose problems with schedule delivery
  • Work with Account Executives to ensure proper copy is applied to all orders

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Maintain high level of support to internal & external customers
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (mainly Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Industry specific knowledge of general ad sales order entry practices
  • Ability to work under deadline pressures
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Knowledge of the Traffic System as well as sales automation software a plus, but not required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in an office environment highly preferred
  • Must have Microsoft Office experience; especially MS Excel
  • Bachelors degree or higher preferred
  • Experience in Media a plus

What we are looking for:

Amsive is looking for a Manager, Ad Operations & Marketing Analytics to serve as a subject matter expert on both the tracking strategy and implementation of advertising tags (pixels, server-side, etc.) with specific attention to client-specific privacy requirements and restrictions, web analytics tracking, and Google Analytics (GA4). This role includes working directly with clients to understand critical business goals and interpret them into an analytics strategy by identifying key web events and KPIs, as well as developing/presenting a plan to achieve those goals.

What you will be doing:
 
  • Plan, organize, and implement ad tracking strategies and platform-specific tags and pixels.
  • Manage tagging & analytics tools such as GTM and Google Analytics, identifying and assessing new tools as needed. 
  • Ability to solve complex online marketing tagging & tracking needs and either implement those solutions independently or clearly and effectively communicate to internal/external development.
  • Be the lead expert in implementing and customizing all aspects of GA4 for clients of all sizes.   
  • Q/A test, debug, and troubleshoot event tracking across platforms to confirm accurate reporting and event tracking. 
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Data Visualization teams to provide necessary data via tracking to enable them to create dashboards in other reporting platforms such as Datorama, Looker, etc.
  • Analyze client web properties and request any potential changes to the data layer required to achieve tracking requirements.
  • Use analytics tools to develop a holistic view of clients’ customer decision journey and apply insights to inform the development of a website experience that engages and converts. 
  • Create, review, and optimize internal team processes to improve team efficiency and client satisfaction. Be the owner of the SOPs for the department.
  • Assist and advise in implementing and maintaining Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)

Who you are:
 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ad tech implementation & strategy including Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, TradeDesk, CallRail, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Data Analytics or a similar field
  • Expert level understanding of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics (GA4) platforms
  • Hands-on experience implementing front-end pixel tracking as well as server-side in production environments
  • Ability to tailor event triggers in tag platforms to meet privacy requirements such as consent management (experience with HIPAA a plus)
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Competent written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SQL and Regex a plus
  • Must possess individual accountability while also having a fun, team-oriented personality

About this role:

Atmosphere is looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to support the rapid growth of our Sales teams across the US (and beyond). This position will play an important role in the success of the company by managing digital video ad campaigns for our client advertisers.
This ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, incredibly well-organized, very comfortable with data, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, unfazed by tight deadlines, and willing to help us find better ways to do our work.

 

This position will be based in New York and will report to the Sr. Manager, Ad Operations.

Supporting our West Coast operations, this role will work Pacific Hours (11am-7pm ET).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build, launch, QA, and manage digital video ad campaigns.
  • Collect, traffic, and troubleshoot creative assets for new and existing campaigns.
  • Regularly review delivery data to identify, prevent, and resolve issues.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to Sales teams for all campaigns as needed.
  • Assist the Account Management team with pre-sale requests including inventory availability/forecasting and/or targeting options, with some strategic input.
  • Assist Account Management and Sales teams on custom advertising executions.
  • Support the development of best practices for the Ad Operations team.
  • Stay on top of advertising industry standards and trends and report back to the team.
 

Requirements:

  • Experience with ad servers and DSPs/SSPs such as Vistar, LKQD, SpringServe, GroundTruth, Hivestack, and/or GAM.
  • Understanding of digital media & advertising principles (marketing funnel, media rate types, programmatic media, etc.).
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel; very comfortable reviewing and explaining data; experience with data tools such as Tableau, Lookr, and/or Sigma is a plus.
  • Understanding of online advertising, strategy and analytics.
  • Excellent multi-tasker, detail-oriented, and well-organized; capable of juggling multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, and OMS/CRMs like Salesforce.
  • Driven to find improvements and efficiencies in their work.
