Job Summary

The Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for the successful execution of campaigns across multiple product lines and content management systems ensuring advertising campaigns are implemented accurately and on time. The successful candidate will monitor and track changes in the schedule for advertising campaigns including creative changes, targeting changes or other changes in the campaign delivery. The Ad Operations Specialist contributes to the successful deployment of advertising campaigns working collaboratively across internal departments to fulfill contract obligations.

What You'll Do

  • Ability to work across multiple content management platforms for deployment of advertising campaigns across a range of accounts and products.
  • Ongoing communication with internal Client Success Managers to ensure successful deployment of campaigns.
  • Review and understand all contract obligations as it relates to execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Attend weekly status meetings for awareness of new campaigns or changes to existing campaigns.
  • Daily prioritization of work based on constantly evolving deadlines, to ensure ad deployment deadlines are met.
  • Able to plan and be proactive in ensuring compliance with out-of-market dates, changes in creative or changes in where a campaign is scheduled to run.
  • Perform quality checks of campaign set-up for self and other team members.
  • Ensure process adherence and identify opportunities for process improvement.
What We Need

About the Role

We're seeking a highly detail-oriented Ad Operations Specialist to join our analytics team, with a focus on advanced tag management, privacy-compliant tracking, and cross-platform pixel implementation using Google Tag Manager (GTM). This role is mission-critical in ensuring our media measurement remains accurate, future-proof, and fully compliant in an ever-changing digital privacy landscape.

You'll serve as our internal subject matter expert for GTM, digital pixels, data layers, and privacy/cookie compliance, partnering closely with media, analytics, and dev teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the implementation, QA, and maintenance of all media pixels and tracking tags (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, The Trade Desk, etc.) using GTM, including event-based and server-side set-ups.
  • Build and manage robust custom variables to ensure precise, granular tracking for digital campaigns.
  • Design tagging solutions that meet privacy requirements, including support for consent management platforms, cookie consent mode, and evolving privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, ITP).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex tagging isues using browser dev tools, debugging extensions, and network analysis.
  • Collaborate across teams to translate tracking requirements into technical specifications for a variety of website platforms and CMS environments.
  • Stay current on privacy and browser changes, proactively updating processes to address signal loss (e.g., blocked cookies, Apple ITP, Google Consent Mode).
  • Maintain clear, organized documentation of all tag implementations, data layers, and consent requirements.
  • Educate and support internal teams on best practices for measurement and GTM deployments.
  • Recommend and implement technical solutions for measurement in restricted environments (server-side tagging, Meta CAPI, Enhanced Conversions, etc.)
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in ad operations or tag management with deep expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Advanced knowledge of event-based tracking, data layers, and pixel implementation across major ad platforms.

What we are looking for:

Amsive is looking for a Manager, Ad Operations & Marketing Analytics to serve as a subject matter expert on both the tracking strategy and implementation of advertising tags (pixels, server-side, etc.) with specific attention to client-specific privacy requirements and restrictions, web analytics tracking, and Google Analytics (GA4). This role includes working directly with clients to understand critical business goals and interpret them into an analytics strategy by identifying key web events and KPIs, as well as developing/presenting a plan to achieve those goals.

What you will be doing:
 
  • Plan, organize, and implement ad tracking strategies and platform-specific tags and pixels.
  • Manage tagging & analytics tools such as GTM and Google Analytics, identifying and assessing new tools as needed. 
  • Ability to solve complex online marketing tagging & tracking needs and either implement those solutions independently or clearly and effectively communicate to internal/external development.
  • Be the lead expert in implementing and customizing all aspects of GA4 for clients of all sizes.   
  • Q/A test, debug, and troubleshoot event tracking across platforms to confirm accurate reporting and event tracking. 
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Data Visualization teams to provide necessary data via tracking to enable them to create dashboards in other reporting platforms such as Datorama, Looker, etc.
  • Analyze client web properties and request any potential changes to the data layer required to achieve tracking requirements.
  • Use analytics tools to develop a holistic view of clients’ customer decision journey and apply insights to inform the development of a website experience that engages and converts. 
  • Create, review, and optimize internal team processes to improve team efficiency and client satisfaction. Be the owner of the SOPs for the department.
  • Assist and advise in implementing and maintaining Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)

Who you are:
 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ad tech implementation & strategy including Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, TradeDesk, CallRail, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Data Analytics or a similar field

**What We Need:**
We're looking for a candidate to work closely with our Client Success teams to set up and manage digital advertising campaigns across iHeart's radio stations and podcasts.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Become familiar with iHeartMedia audio, display and video ad products across multiple platforms.

**Job Summary:**
Hulu is seeking a dynamic Associate Manager, Ad Operations to join the Hulu Marketing team. As a part of the Ad Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting campaigns end-to-end, distributing audiences, implementing tags and new pixels, and maintaining proper reporting/measurement across paid and owned campaigns. This role supports numerous high profile campaigns and requires extraordinary technical and organizational skills. **Basic Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Ad Operations
+ Strong knowledge of attribution modeling, data pipelines, and media measurement
+ Expertise in marketing platforms such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager, AppsFlyer, Kochava, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, LiveRamp
+ Experience working across Google tech stack and key media partners including Meta, Snap, TikTok, YouTube
