You will be responsible for running residential groups and implementing effective treatment plans for clients in individual and group settings in person or virtually. Our community will offer a total of 24 rooms for residential behavioral health located in Madison, SD.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields (residential/inpatient/outpatient experience preferred)
- Licensed as LAC, CAC, ACT, LPCC, or LICSW in the state of South Dakota.
- Proficient in ASAM
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a team setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
- Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems.
- Documentation and Compliance.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans.
- Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients.
- Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties.
- Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals.
- Conduct AOD Evaluations
- Provide direct counseling in a residential setting.
- Conduct and submit timely paperwork.

The addiction psychiatry opportunity is an academic faculty position at Assistant/Associate Professor level through CMU College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. This position will be responsible for direct patient care and will work as a leader of a multi-disciplinary team.
