Key Responsibilities:

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Addiction Counselling, CAC certification, bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field preferred, Bachelor of Arts required.
• Two years' experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use or IDD.
• Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
• ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program.

• Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm rotating Saturdays 7am - 9am
• Provides case management services which support a positive treatment outcome
• Serves as therapist in IOP and continued care groups, as well as provide individual therapy as needed for SUD and/or mental health disorders
• Organizes and makes educational presentations related to behavioral health and recovery
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans based on results from the screening tools and bio psychosocial assessment
• Collaborates with medical staff and treatment team as a whole
• Consults with family members and referral sources in order to coordinate patient care

ChristianaCare's is seeking aBoard Certified Addiction Psychiatrist to join our Project Recovery outpatient program. This is a full-time clinical position providing expert psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary team across both Wilmington and Newark campuses in Delaware. The Project Recovery program delivers evidence-based, person-centered treatment for individuals with substance use disorders for all substances.
