Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the fulfillment of preparing, packaging, and regulating the shipment of sampled materials and associated documents. This role involves assisting laboratory management to ensure sampling requirements are met and communicating with internal and external parties, along with other clerical tasks assigned. The laboratory assistant will work closely with laboratory and production management, shipping and receiving personnel, customer service, and onsite customer representatives to produce quality results.
Responsibilities
+ Use SAP software to prepare deliveries and shipments to outside laboratories, customers, and vendors.
+ Prepare deliveries and handovers to customer representatives.
+ Ensure proper sampling of customer materials and generate sampling protocols.
+ Effectively communicate with outside laboratories, customer service representatives, and outside vendors.
+ Generate customer Sampling Protocols.
+ Troubleshoot errors related to material classification, such as SDS, Dangerous Goods classification, account management, and financial blocks.
+ Maintain shipment tracking and records in Excel spreadsheets.
+ Assist shipping and receiving personnel with sample storage, movement, and inventory of sampled materials, practicing the HPMN 4-eye principle.
+ Perform data entry of external lab results, confirm results, and perform Usage Decisions as assigned.
+ Assist in the assignment of ILOTs for sample material and movement of materials in SA.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
