**Responsibilities:**
+ Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, supply chain, legal, export, and security.
+ Review and approve contractual documents for protection of the company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence to company policies. Therefore, a keen attention to detail is essential.
+ Planning and executing successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates as well as favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals.
+ Regular and proactive interface and effective collaboration with program, technical, and operations organizations in order to provide guidance and direction based upon the requirements of the resulting contracts.
+ Ability to solve complex problems by actively seeking information and new ideas from a variety of sources.
+ Demonstrate commitment and energy to meet customer needs with the ability to provide concise and effective communication through presentation, written documentation, or email format with different levels of Management.
+ Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

**Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in contract administration/management. We will also consider 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
+ Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
+ Experience interfacing with all levels of employees and management
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite of Applications

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for anAdministrative Assistantto join a leading Company located in theLouisa, VAsurrounding area.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide short-term support to the scheduling team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced administrative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Provide administrative and data entry support to the scheduling department
+ Input and maintain accurate data within company systems and spreadsheets
+ Assist with daily scheduling tasks and documentation
+ Follow established procedures and instructions with close attention to detail
+ Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow
+ Perform general office support as needed
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Strong data entry skills and computer literacy (Microsoft Office proficiency preferred)
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently
+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
+ Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred

Job Description

The Administrative and Office Specialist II role provides career tracks for operational and administrative support specialists such as office support assistants and secretaries who perform a wide variety of journey-level office/program and administrative support duties based on agency business needs. Duties are performed within specific guidelines using established policies and procedures. The range of duties includes, but is not limited to, general office, secretarial,fiscal, and support activities.
+ Acts as a specialist in assigned program area, performing the most complex technical duties, such as reviewing and processing claims from vendors, contractors, medical providers and others for reimbursement or other actions under various programs.
+ Performs, leads, or supervises a wide variety of moderate to complex program and operational support duties.
+ Applies knowledge of programmatic and administrative requirements.
+ Applies knowledge of applicable computer software/programs.
+ Frequent contacts include internal and external customers to gather information or provide information.
+ May serve as a subject matter expert.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

Performs a variety of administrative functions for one or more Medical Center professionals. Work often requires detailed knowledge of area and the application and interpretation of organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
+ Answers the telephone, greets visitors, schedules appointments and meetings, and coordinates travel and conference arrangements.
+ Develops and implements effective and professional office practices and procedures.
+ Handles purchasing, personnel transactions and special projects.
