**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Prepare (key) correspondence, reports and forms.
2. Compose correspondence as directed.
3. Research and assemble information for projects.
4. Execute routine projects within general guidelines & instruction.
5. Establish and maintain files and records.
6. Answer telephone and handle walk-in inquiries
7. Arrange and handle details related to travel arrangements, expense reports, meetings and appointments.
8. Deal discreetly with confidential information.
9. Interact with internal and/or external customers to provide information, assist in solving problems and answer questions.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Qualifications:**

As an Engineering Administrative Associate at United Rentals, you will provide a variety of support services to the Engineering Department. You'll be responsible for implementing engineering policies and procedures. You will also organize and coordinate engineering workflow, and assist engineering staff with the completion of production documents, which in doing so, helps drive profitable engineering revenue for the Company.
**What you'll do:**
+ Provide support to the Engineering Department when creating shoring, shielding, and other structural support systems for site-specific trench and excavation projects
+ Assist with producing pricing quotations and formal written proposals for design projects
+ Receive incoming Excavation Shoring Questionnaires & check information for accuracy & completeness
+ Work with Engineers to draft formal site specific proposals
+ Receive engineering design requests from Branches & distribute to Engineers
+ Organize proposals & projects within electronic and hardcopy filing systems
+ Communicate with Branches to obtain engineering billing information and compile engineering revenue summary for management review and use
+ Provide clerical assistance to Manager for completion of engineering forms, licensing applications, licensing renewals, safety documents, departmental worksheets/databases, etc
+ Other duties assigned as needed
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma
+ Minimum 1 year experience inside sales or comparable experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
+ Knowledgeable of the OSHA Excavation Standard 1926 Subpart P. and related standards
+ Must be able to effectively work independently, as well as within a team environment
+ Must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage time and multiple tasks to meet deadlines
+ Strong organizational skills and fine attention to detail
+ Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
