Here's what you can expect as a Retail Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker): This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our Customer Service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Other Customer Service duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
  • Processing sales, loans, and extensions
  • Performing opening and closing store duties

Requirements for the Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role include:

Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Completes applications in coordination with Agent, Account Executive or Account Manager(s) and submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
  • Prepares proposals and renewal summaries
  • Maintains agency management system with up-to-date and accurate data
  • Administers processing and suspense of new business, renewals, cancellations, and endorsement requests
  • Prepares certificates, binders, surety bonds and general correspondence
  • Completes MVR requests and trucking certificates according to scheduled rotation

  • Delivers exceptional customer service according to Customer Service Standards with a goal of exceeding customer expectations with every interaction
  • Promotes a customer-focused environment by providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service to internal and external customers

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Work experience required to perform this job satisfactorily is typically acquired through a minimum of one-year insurance industry experience in personal lines.
