The Digital Creative Design Manager will:
Aim to pursue knowledge of best practices in the changing landscape of the digital retail space. Strategically & tactically drive design innovation and growth at AutoZone by supporting internal initiatives, coaching & mentoring team members, and influencing design through peer reviews and critiques.

Responsibilities:
+ Work collaboratively with leadership, product, research, and tech leads to prioritize the overall design needs in a fast-paced Agile environment.
+ Review and participate in user research insights, both qualitative and quantitative, from the research and analytics teams and seek improvements for our customers with project partners.
+ Take ownership of projects, design work, and maintain availability to help and support designers to ensure the proper understanding of the design before, during, and after handoff.
+ Review competitive analysis and best practices with designers to provide insight into the consumer market, trends, and our customer needs as it applies to specific projects.
+ Effectively manage your team's time to ensure deadlines are met on time and within budget.
+ Leverage and govern the AutoZone Design System to guide functional and responsive UI components.
+ Seek feedback; lead and participate in peer design reviews and critiques to influence the direction of design deliverables for various projects and campaigns.
+ Help to define essential user journeys/experiences and functional requirements with a product team from a design perspective.
+ Presenting design work back to business stakeholders and advise on experience design best practices.
+ Work with digital agencies to support projects & activities to ensure experience design-related deliverables meet our quality standards and adhere to our brand guidelines.
+ Mentor and/or manage other designers. Provide guidance, support, and assess performance regularly and develop actions plans that support professional development and career progression as per AutoZone's career development framework.

WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?
- Required:
- Ability to write VHDL (required) and Verilog (desirable) code in support of design and development of digital signal processing systems.
- Proficiency in all aspects of FPGA design and verification, familiarity with FPGA timing and resource optimization, familiarity with Vivado/ISE, Plan Ahead, Quartus, and Modelsim.
- Ability to develop architectures from high level requirements documents as well as the ability to document and present coded algorithms.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communications skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Role We are seeking a Director of Digital Design to lead our design team, driving the aesthetic and functional evolution of our software products for consumers, creators and our staff at the factory. The ideal candidate will possess a perfect blend of strategic mindset and hands-on expertise, as well as a passion for creating user-centric designs that serve both our consumer and manufacturing audiences. Responsibilities Lead and manage our product design team, ensuring that design strategies align with company goals and objectives. Develop and implement a cohesive design system that promotes consistency and scalability across all our digital platforms - admin (MES), create hub (creator portal), shop ( gantri.com ). Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that the design vision is realized in final products. Foster a culture of design thinking, ensuring user-centricity is at the heart of our product development process. Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring our designs remain fresh and competitive. Lead user research efforts to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable design strategies. Mentor and develop design team members, ensuring their continuous growth and success. Oversee and manage design projects, ensuring they are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital design work for both consumer-facing and B2B platforms. Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others. Demonstrated experience in building and implementing design systems. Strong understanding of user-centric design principles and methodologies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to navigate and drive results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
