Collaborates with the VP of Information Technology to plan, implement, and support the network and computing infrastructure plan.

Supports voice communications.

Provides network and server support by researching, analyzing, and resolving associated problems.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
  1. Server administration, including backups, security management, user account management, email systems, and internet access.
  2. Collaborates with the VP of Information Technology to plan, implement, and support the network and computing infrastructure plan.
  3. Supports voice communications.
  4. Provides network and server support by researching, analyzing, and resolving associated problems.
  5. Performs administrative functions on systems as needed for implementation, support, and maintenance.
  6. Monitors the performance and capacity of systems and implements modifications and upgrades as required.
  7. Assists management with IT solutions to ensure target objectives are met.
  8. Works with the IT team to find solutions for various project and operational needs.
  9. Develops, enforces, and maintains installation and configuration procedures.
  10. Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible threats or intrusions.
  11. Applies OS patches on a monthly basis and upgrades administrative tools and utilities as necessary.
  12. Maintains data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
  13. Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  14. Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
  15. Serves as the main point of contact on all IT-related matters for all company facilities.
  16. Ensures company assets and software licensing are maintained and used responsibly.
  17. Adheres to the company's safety and quality standards.
  18. Maintains a safe and clean work area.
  19. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required by ITAR.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in supporting a network environment.
  • Experience with disaster recovery plans and implementation.
  • Expert knowledge as an OS administrator.
  • Experience: 3+ years with Windows Server.
  • Previous expert-level experience supporting Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 and Office 365 (Mailbox maintenance), Microsoft IIS.
  • Expertise and proficient experience with Microsoft server products and VMware technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, DFS, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, VMware).
  • Practical working knowledge of SCCM and its functionality.
  • Proficient in TCP/IP networking and related network services (e.g., DNS, SMTP, DHCP, Load-Balancers).
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have expert-level troubleshooting skills, with the ability to determine the root cause of a problem and identify and resolve systemic issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively focusing on priority issues.
  • Previous competent experience supporting an Enterprise Backup system.
  • Bonus: Master's degree with a concentration in technology.
  • Nice to have: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCSA Admin, or MCSE Core certifications.
  • Expert-level firewall configuration experience.

Director of Client Services/Executive Business Development Manager Flybridge Staffing is currently searching for a Sr. Systems Administrator for a Client based in the West Palm Beach area. This is a direct-hire position that works off a hybrid schedule. The Sr System Administrator will deploy, reconfigure, and troubleshoot systems and applications at the server level. Expertise in Windows operating systems, including creating and configuring physical and virtual servers (Windows, VCenter, VMware, ESXi).
