Description
Advanced Technical Support Engineers are responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing solutions to service incidents across a wide product portfolio. They manage incidents from identification through resolution, utilizing technical, critical thinking, and communication skills to restore services, build customer relationships, and identify process improvements. Success in this role requires a strong customer-focused attitude, a broad understanding of internet-based services and technologies, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical support to customers by addressing queries and troubleshooting issues promptly.

  • Troubleshoot incidents and escalate to higher levels as needed.

  • Monitor production network environments using monitoring tools to ensure availability.

  • Coordinate on-site dispatch of telecommunications technicians for service repairs.

  • Respond to automated alerts using diagnostic tools to determine severity and criticality of problems.

  • Proactively detect faults and conditions, diagnose causes, and resolve expeditiously.

  • Escalate issues and problems according to established procedures.

  • Perform regular system health checks.

  • Apply knowledge of networking, systems, and applications to identify and resolve problems effectively.

  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve production problems.

  • Maintain detailed trouble ticket notes on incidents and problems.

  • Write or revise system documentation and procedures when required.

  • Travel up to 10% for training or other functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms, including the ability to engage with customers, peers, and executive management.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Help Desk or high-volume call center (preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT operations with knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques.

  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible work experience in network and/or server monitoring.

  • Experience in monitoring theory and implementation.

  • Knowledge of current internet network hardware and software technologies.

  • Experience and knowledge of wireless standards (802.11n/ac/ax) and RF fundamentals.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (additional experience or training may substitute).

  • Experience with LAN/WAN technologies including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, wireless, and fiber.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Experience troubleshooting large-scale networks.

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN and network protocols.

  • Ability to participate professionally in video conferences (quiet environment, adequate internet).

  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including extended hours, travel, and overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Developer to contribute to our cutting-edge web application hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our software platform, leading both front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js) development.

This opportunity is IN OFFICE. The corporate office is located in Davie, FL. Candidates must have valid work authorization and not require sponsorship now or in the future.  Responsibilities

  • Be actively involved in the build, deployment, and continuous improvement of our software platform across front-end and back-end development.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following current industry coding standards and best practices.

  • Design and implement unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.

  • Contribute to and enhance our CI/CD automation pipelines.

  • Understand upcoming feature requests, document technical considerations, and provide time estimates.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver delightful user experiences.

  • Take ownership of software scalability, maintainability, and performance.

  • Investigate, scope, and resolve bugs and high-priority issues.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full stack software development experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with React.js.

  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development with Node.js.

  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and best practices.

  • Ability to design system/process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence/UML diagrams.

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, modern authorization mechanisms, security, and deployment strategies.

  • Version control experience with Git, GitHub, and CodeCommit/CodePipeline.

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an agile team environment.

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Passion for problem-solving, innovation, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Cloud software development experience, preferably with serverless cloud functions on GCP.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Amplify, or Firestore.

  • Experience with NestJS.

We are looking for a **Software Developer II** to join our Hybrid team in **Sunrise, FL.** In this role, you will be part of a data security development team, with an active role in the design and development of our next generation suite of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), client-side tools, and Post Quantum Cryptographic libraries. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, test, deploy, debug, implement C/Python/Go software applications and services
+ Effectively apply Agile (Safe) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards
+ Develop, test, and maintain software solutions that utilize container technologies
+ Participate in requirements definition, documentation and code reviews
+ Contribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration
+ Solve complex technical problems with demanding requirements, in innovative, practical ways.
+ Review code from others on team
+ Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments
+ Function independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision
+ Confidently interact, collaborate, and innovate with team members
+ Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree, in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant discipline.
+ 3+ Years relevant software development experience creating embedded applications
+ 3+ years C, python programming experience
+ Go programming experience is a plus
+ Embedded and application development from embedded code & drivers to client-side tools
+ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
+ Strong experience with a Python Unit test framework
+ Understands the concepts of embedded Linux development
+ Ability to travel up to 10%, both domestic and international
+ Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Application security design, and development of secure services architecture
+ Experience with Design, build, verification, and debug of VHDL-based FPGA solutions
+ FPGA High Level Synthesis, understanding of math algorithms and Simulation experience is a plus.
+ Understanding of cryptography: key management, symmetric/asymmetric keys, crypto algorithms
+ Experience with complex, multi-component projects, using multiple development languages
+ In depth Experience of the Windows, Linux Operating systems
+ Experience integrating software with embedded hardware devices

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $100,781-$147,813 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company's discretionary annual incentive plan. Insight Global is partnering with a Bank with their HQ located in Newark, OH with additional offices in Orlando, FL and Miramar, FL who is currently looking for a Application Developer II to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for assessing their current portfolio of applications, helping determine which ones will be decommissioned, which ones will be upgraded from their legacy technology to later versions of .Net Core, as well as heavily involved on integrations through API's and standardizing their SDLC. This is a 6-month contract to hire. We're targeting a pay rate of $45-55/HR with a conversion salary of $100K. This position requires to work hybrid 3/week (Mon-Wed).

2 -4 yrs - Applied specialized experience with the following: Angular 4+, .NET, C# 7+, SQL, VS Code/Visual Studio, GitLab, PostMan, API Design and Development
