Key Responsibilities:
* Provides nutrition education & training support for the community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
* Implements corporate wellness programming
* Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
* Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
* Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
* Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
* Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts - partnering with operations and stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces

Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team with Chartwells K-12 at Wichita Falls ISD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides nutrition education&training support for the community including tabling, lunch&learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.

• Implements corporate wellness programming

• Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers

• Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates

• Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis

• Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication&messaging

• Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces

• Operational execution and oversight – hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services

• Partner with various offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable

• Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, and governmental regulations

• Experience working with special diets and food allergies

• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends

• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable

• ServSafe® certified a plus

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
