AdventHealth Waterman is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C or APRN) to join our expanding orthopedic team. What You'll Do

• First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures

• Perform hospital rounding at AdventHealth Waterman

• Maintain a dynamic clinic schedule with onsite ultrasound and X-ray

• Support a growing practice expanding to multiple community-based offices

• Collaborate with surgeons, sports medicine specialists, and rehab services

What We're Looking For

• Strong surgical experience, preferably in orthopedics

• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

• Team player with a patient-first mindset and excellent communication skills

• Active Florida PA or APRN license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA license required or ability to secure

For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides group process and/or didactic psychotherapy, family meetings, chemical dependency educational groups, on occasion activities and social skills groups. At times, individual interventions for alternative active treatment while ensuring deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families. Group Therapist may also assist with psychosocial assessments, family contact and treatment planning documentation when needed. This is a NON paid internship.
