The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the Older Adult Behavioral Health Program, Program to Encourage Active and Rewarding Lives (PEARLS), Caregiver Resource Center, Adult Protective Services team and provide short term emergency counseling to older adults living in Oak Park and River Forest. The Clinical Services Manager will provide clinical supervision and direct support to the teams for individual or group counseling, on-site crisis intervention, short-term (emergency) case management, and interface with other providers as warranted by client needs. The Clinical Services Manager will also coordinate presentations for staff and the community on topics of mental health, mental health screening events, and other outreach and presentations, as needed.


Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee Older Adult Behavioral Health, PEARLS, Caregiver Resource Center and any additional, applicable programming. Ensures staff productivity and clinical direction of treatment.
  • Oversee Adult Protective Services team and offer support on challenging abuse, neglect, exploitation, hoarding, and self-neglect cases where mental health concerns are involved.
  • Understand, provide oversight, and carry out work for the programs in accordance with funding guidelines and Oak Park Township policies.
  • Provide opportunities for learning, growth and motivation for the clinical services team.
  • Hold a small caseload of the most complex cases and provide backup support to the team during absences or staffing shortages.
  • 6. Support team in managing participant needs in an effective manner by identifying and addressing gaps in service while utilizing best clinical practices.
  • Serves as clinical programs expert for the leadership team.
  • Conduct orientation, training, performance evaluation, and payroll approval for assigned team.

  • Hold weekly, one-on-one supervision with the clinical services team members and identify opportunities for their growth, attainment of licensure, expansion of services provision, and increased levels of responsibility.
  • Regularly review and recommend changes to leadership regarding program services to meet the needs of existing participants, underserved populations, and unmet needs identified in the community.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, reporting, and documentation based on program standards.
  • Provide oversight to clinical services interns.
  • Earn required CEU’s for ongoing licensure renewal.
  • Attend required meetings, training, and events, as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • MSW, MA, or MS in Counseling Psychology, Gerontology, Clinical Psychology or related field required and Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Two to three years post-Masters clinical experience in the provision of therapeutic services to older adults preferred.
  • Bi-lingual – Spanish preferred
  • Clinical supervision provided to team members, others.
  • Program operations, reporting and quality assurance in compliance with funding guidelines.
  • Illinois Department on Aging Certifications for Care Coordination and/or Adult Protective Services preferred

License(s) and Certification(s):

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Summary Description:

Avation Medical is seeking a Clinical Service Representative(CSR) in an independent contractor role to calibrate and train patients on the use and care of the Vivally System.

This is the perfect opportunity for health & clinical professionals with patient care, clinical research, or similar in-person patient experiences to supplement his or her income. A typical Vivally patient will be referred for calibration and training from Urology and Urogynecology practices within a 2 hour radius of Chicago, Illinois. Calibration and training for the Vivally System takes about 30min per patient.

In addition to the initial calibration and training of patients, the CSR may also follow-up with patients to assure understanding and satisfaction and train physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians to perform personalization and training of Vivally on patients. CSRs retain the flexibility to accept or decline assignments as their schedules dictate. Most assignments can be scheduled during free time before/after work, and on days off.

Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to accept assignments which could include daytime, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Travel to healthcare provider offices or patients homes to provide services.
  • Calibrate and train the patient and other caregivers of patient (if applicable) in the use of Vivally.
  • Train physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians to perform Vivally calibration and training for patients.

Qualifications:

  • Have 1 year patient care, clinical research, or similar clinical in-person patient experience
    • Patient experience must be in a paid professional environment (not family caregiver)
    • Experience with urology or urogynecology patients is ideal but not required.
  • Patient experience must be documented on resume
  • Completion of background check

The Senior Director of Clinical Shared Services is responsible for the development, management, and continuous improvement of clinical compliance activities for all Chamberlain University students.  Additionally, the Director is responsible for practicum and fieldwork operations in the Chamberlain University post-licensure/graduate programs. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations and financial management; market development of an inventory of sites and preceptor/mentor agreements; direct management of practicum/fieldwork coordination personnel, compliance specialists, administrative coordinators, and contract specialists; delivering superior service to students engaged in a practicum or fieldwork experience in a Chamberlain University post-licensure program; and achieving targeted service metrics for practicum/fieldwork services shared across all post-licensure programs.    
 

  • Oversees Chamberlain University’s clinical compliance for all Chamberlain University students who are required to participate in clinical experiences
  • Manages practicum and fieldwork operations for all post-licensure/graduate programs.
  • Manages multiple teams of people responsible for the coordination, approval, contractual arrangements, compliance, and evaluation of clinical experiences for all Chamberlain University post-licensure programs.
  • Tracks key academic and business metrics related to clinical programs; consistently seeks to improve the quality and value of the practicum/fieldwork student experience.
  • Works collaboratively with all colleagues who support post-licensure program directors and deans to ensure coordination and consistency of the College’s mission, philosophy, and educational outcomes across settings and programs.
  • Ensures compliance with legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards, including the timely completion of required reports.
  • Responds to and resolves questions and concerns regarding clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations.
  • Develops and manages a budget to support clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations.
  • Proposes and executes strategic plans that align process improvements and resource utilization to Chamberlain University’s growth strategy.
  • Participates in academic planning and scheduling in order to establish scalable and repeatable processes that predict timely practicum/fieldwork identification, site approvals, and student preparation for practicum and fieldwork courses.
  • Utilizes SalesForce and other technologies to improve efficiencies and provide regular reporting that measure clinical compliance and utilization, student satisfaction, preceptor/mentor satisfaction, and other metrics that show program success.
  • Establishes, maintains, and measures relationship management processes with large systems, national agencies, and local healthcare agencies and community partners for clinical experiences.
  • Liaises with other functional areas to establish scalable and repeatable processes with interdependencies on resources across the organization.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert about Chamberlain University practicum operations and practica requirements/capstone projects/fieldwork and presents these to internal and external leaders/stakeholders.
  • Participates in industry programs and initiatives to maintain currency of clinical compliance and practicum/fieldwork operations.
  • Manages the selection, training/development, and evaluation of practicum/fieldwork coordination, clinical compliance, and contract specialist team members.
  • Establishes and maintains superior service to students.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • This position is a designated Campus Security Authority.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required or demonstrated experience in a similar role, business or healthcare administration preferred.
  • 2 years of successful demonstration of operational excellence in a healthcare-related field required.
  • Practicum/fieldwork coordination or clinical market development experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required, including the development and delivery of presentations.
  • Solid knowledge or experience working with healthcare partners and directly with practicum/fieldwork providers is preferred.
  • Able to develop business relationships through a variety of mechanisms (phone, email, in person).
  • Strong relationship skills with demonstrated experience in group problem solving, consensus building, and win-win negotiation.
  • Some travel required up to 20% of the time.


Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100,171.61 and $181,034.70. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Description:

Performs a variety of direct patient care procedures to assist the unit manager, professional staff and physicians in providing patient care focused on the needs of the patient.

GENERAL PATIENT CARE - Meets the comfort and hygiene needs of the patient.

TECHNICAL CARE - Assists with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, sets up and primes IV tubing, 12-lead ECG, simple tracheostomy suctioning and care, changes dressings, performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, obtains wound and throat cultures.

EQUIPMENT - Assists physician and professional staff in equipment supply and set up.

TRANSPORT - Assists with ambulating patients with assistive devices such as crutches and with transfer/transport procedures.

COMMUNICATION - Performs required documentation and communicates in a competent and effective manner to meet patient and/or family needs and regulatory requirements. Maintains strict confidentiality of patient, employee and department information to ensure patient rights.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT - Utilizes time and resources effectively to promote quality and cost outcomes.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education:

Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

Minimum Experience:

Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications:

Required: Certified Nurse Assistant, BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA

Other: Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program with placement on the Illinois Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry or verification of an equal or higher educational level in a clinically focused program. Individuals working as Patient Care Assistants at Loyola University Medical Center prior to 1997 are exempt from the above guidelines and are grandfathered into the Patient Care Tech roles upon successful completion of an in-house orientation and training program for the Patient Care Tech position.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $16.70 - $25.53 per hour
