**AECOM Advisory** is seeking a dynamic **Manager (Managing Consultant/Engagement Manager)** to support our growing global Advisory business line. We are seeking talented management consultants to join AECOM Advisory who are mission-driven for the role of our clients in supporting economic, environmental and social vibrancy. **Role:**
As a **Manager** in AECOM Advisory's **US West Region** , your day-to-day role will be to architect, lead and manage client engagements. These tasks will include, but not be limited to:
+ Building client relationships and managing interactions throughout the engagement lifecycle, bringing clients into engagement delivery and iteratively building their buy-in.
+ Upwardly and laterally manage the inputs from regional leadership, Directors, Client Account Managers, and technical experts to flag key delivery choices, considerations and risks as they relate to technical scope, client satisfaction, and commercial constraints.
+ Independently tailor existing/proven analytical frameworks and methodologies for client-specific needs.
+ In collaboration with leadership, architect new analytical frameworks and methodologies for novel client-specific needs.
+ Drive (outline, supervise, and provide quality control over) delivery teams comprised of 5-8 Consultants and Senior Consultants across multiple and inter-dependent workstreams in:
+ Applying existing and hypothesizing new solution frameworks to deconstruct, dimensionalize, and analyze client problems.
+ Leveraging AI tools to conduct baseline assessments and secondary research.
+ Conducting stakeholder interviews, including with C-suite clients and senior management stakeholders.
+ Conducting business modelling (market sizing, segmentation, penetration, adoption) and investment analysis by building custom discounted cash flow (DCF) Excel models to calculate revenue, cost-benefit analyses (CBA), EBITDA, NPV, IRR, CAGR for client's policies, projects and programs.
+ Leveraging analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, Python, Tableau) to derive patterns, trends and insights from client and third-party datasets to inform client recommendations.
+ Creating highly-polished executive-ready decks as you work, to build buy-in and convey emerging data-driven insights.
+ Synthesizing multiple inputs into coherent insights across a variety of formats; slide decks, written narrative, playbooks, dashboards and toolkits.
+ Proactively coach and mentor junior staff on developing core consulting skills.
In addition, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development, through:
+ Supporting Capture Managers with specific elements of proposal responses, including: narrative development, technical solutions development (incl. technical writing), pricing, team definition, subcontractor engagement, internal risk review, and compliance procedures.
+ Creating pitch decks and defining AECOM Advisory's value proposition.
+ Bringing commercial acumen around client needs, budgetary requirements, researching client contexts.

**Qualifications**
**Required:**

+ At least 6 years of management consulting or corporate strategy experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

+ MBA, or other Master's degree in Operational Research, Management, Management Science, Finance, Economics, Systems Engineering and/or related fields.
+ Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
+ Strong technical skills, including experience with one or more of the following software packages:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Assigned to a field construction organization in a general or single discipline position. Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility.
+ Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility.
+ Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager.
+ Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility.
+ Monitor's subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations
+ Reviews manpower, material, equipment requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
+ Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
+ Assists with compliance of safety program that creates a safe and health work environment through the job site and adheres to OSHA safety and record keeping requirements.
+ Ensures safety standards and requirements are adhered to by crafts/trades, laborers and others when in the assigned operational area as well as ensure tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
+ Prepares reports, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.
+ Under guidance of Superintendent or Project Manager, monitors work performance and of subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedules are followed.
+ This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing construction methods, schedules, manning charts, material and equipment requirements, etc.
+ Ensures compliance with all internal and external record keeping requirements, with particular emphasis on accurate, properly coded timecards and accurately codes, fully priced material delivery tickets.
+ Uses current construction management system to perform record-keeping tasks including, composing daily diaries, maintaining project logs and retrieving RFIs, submittal logs and agreements.
+ Provides assistance to assigned contractors in scheduling issues.
+ Monitors the project pre-plan which includes a CPM schedule, work sequences, manpower utilization, material handling and storage requirements and equipment use.
+ When requested, interfaces with client, architect and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction.
+ Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, estimating, procurement, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards and that the project is completed on time and within budget.
+ Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.

+ Bachelor's degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Valid Driver's License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Apply existing and identify new solution frameworks to analyze client problems.
+ Conduct business modelling (market sizing, segmentation, penetration, adoption) and investment analysis by building custom discounted cash flow (DCF) Excel models to calculate revenue, cost-benefit analyses (CBA), EBITDA, NPV, IRR, CAGR for client's policies, projects, and programs.
+ Leverage analytical and data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Costar, IMPLAN, Python, Tableau) to derive patterns, trends and insights from client and third-party datasets to inform client recommendations.
+ May draft and prepare reports based on project outcomes.
+ Has strong academic record, reflecting strong technical skills and high quality/standards of work; staffed on a wide range of projects and tasks.
+ Works under the direction of more experienced staff and managers.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in economics, Management, Public Policy, Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MBA, or other master's degree in Operational Research, Management, Management Science, Finance, Economics, Systems Engineering and/or related fields
+ Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses related to business development and operations, economic and community development, governance, equity, housing, public health, public finance, and/or resilience
+ Experience leading discrete technical tasks, presenting and developing content for client deliverables and proposals, interviewing project stakeholders, and presenting professional work at meetings.
+ Experience building cashflow models in Excel
+ Ability to think critically, analyze policy and regulations, and write effectively
+ Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

+ Interns will work alongside other interns and junior staff on collecting data, conducting research, and organizing and synthesizing information to address the opportunities and/or challenges posed by specific projects and efforts for both community-based regional and national clients.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's program or higher in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Finance, Business, Real Estate, Environmental Science, Climate and Sustainability, or a related field and must have completed at least three years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with a master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Business, Real Estate, Finance, Environmental Science, Climate and Sustainability, or a related field
+ Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses related to economic and community development, equity, housing, public health, public finance, and/or resilience
+ Experience building cashflow models in Excel for real estate development projects
+ Ability to think critically, analyze policy and regulations, and write effectively
+ Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
+ Strong technical skills, including experience with one or more of the following software packages:
+ ArcGIS and other spatial analysis tools
+ Quantitative/statistical programs such as STATA, R, Python
+ Data and analysis visualization
+ Data sources such as Costar, EMSI, ESRI Business Analyst, BLS
+ Economic impact modeling tools such as RIMS II, IMPLAN, REMI
