**Description:**
You will be the Aeronautical Engineer for our team. Our team is responsible for performing modification of military aircraft (both rotary- and fixed-wing) and ground vehicles to meet evolving operational needs, as part of the Special Operations Forces Global Logistic Support Services (SOF GLSS) contract.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Aeronautical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring a quality solution that meets all of the defined airworthiness requirements, and performing analysis work including stress, loads, vibration, fatigue and fracture, thermal, and aerodynamic throughout the entire process from initial design to final delivery and production support.
Your responsibilities will include:

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with a Finite Element Modeling (FEM) creation using ANSYS, FEMAP, NASTRAN or similar programs
- Strong knowledge and experience in classical stress analysis methods (hand calculations)

- Skilled in presenting designs & analyses to customers to get approval that the design meets all static structural, dynamic structural, thermal, and aerodynamic requirements.

- Working with an airworthiness authority to get airworthiness certification of delivered products

As an Aeronautical Engineer with the Strategic Reentry Programs Aerothermal team team you will provide support to various missile programs. You will support multiple team's performance related to the modeling and simulation of hypersonic flight vehicles.
