**Summary**
The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs hires **Lecturers** in **Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering** for temporary, non-tenure track positions to fill open sections of courses across the curriculum. Appointments are part-time (usually less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
Lecturers will teach classes for the department of department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Classes may be on-campus, online, or hybrid. Courses may be at either graduate or undergraduate levels and can cover any of the broad spectrum of topic areas in both mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering.
**Essential Functions**
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide instruction to undergraduate/graduate students based on course modality including class and/or lab preparation, administering exams, grading, and maintaining office hours.

You will be the Engineering Technology Manager / Hardware Design & Analysis Functional Manager for our high-profile missile program team. Our team is responsible for overseeing the development, production, and futures activities of tactical hardware, software, and firmware, ensuring technical excellence and program execution.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Engineering Technology Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers and providing technical leadership and expertise in system requirements analysis, integration, and test. You will oversee a team of 7-12 direct reports and 30+ indirect reports, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution across multiple departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
