**What You'll Do:**
+ Assemble and test avionic LRUs, PCBAs, fiber-optic, and electromechanical components
+ Perform both component- and system-level testing with precision
+ Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and tools
+ Support preventative maintenance on data acquisition systems and test equipment
+ Track inventory, assist with receiving, and coordinate material flow
+ Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
+ Promote and follow all safety requirements and update SOPs as needed
**What We're Looking For:**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ 1+ years of experience in high-precision manufacturing OR technical trade certification
+ Skilled with hand tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, and multimeters
+ Familiarity with system testing and validation tools
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and documentation
+ US Persons status (required for Export Control compliance)
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs solo; team-lift up to 45 lbs
+ Capable of standing, bending, climbing, grasping, and stretching throughout the shift

Key job responsibilities
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
- 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
- Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
Preferred Qualifications
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
- CFOT certification or equivalent experience
- Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
- ASE certification or equivalent experience
- Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $2,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to 68,640/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
