  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of system documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test procedures.
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior systems engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to proposal development and technical reviews.
  • Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements.
  • Lead technical reviews and design boards.
  • Interface with customers and stakeholders to communicate project status and technical details.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and their application in aerospace systems.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle (requirements definition, architecture, design, integration, test, verification, validation).
  • Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, SysML, DOORS).
  • Strong understanding of aerospace principles, including aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, avionics, and control systems.
  • Experience with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with defense or commercial aerospace programs is a plus.
  • Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required.
