Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Aerospace Systems Integration Engineer to join their innovative, remote-first engineering team. This position focuses on the integration and verification of complex aerospace systems, ensuring seamless operation and performance. You will play a critical role in the entire lifecycle of our aerospace projects, from initial concept development through to final testing and deployment. As a remote employee, you will leverage cutting-edge collaboration tools and methodologies to work effectively with globally distributed teams. Your expertise will be essential in defining system requirements, developing integration strategies, and resolving technical challenges that arise during development and testing.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the integration of multiple aerospace subsystems, including avionics, propulsion, and structural components.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive system integration test plans and procedures.
  • Analyzing system performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with hardware and software engineers to resolve integration issues.
  • Contributing to the definition of system architecture and interface control documents.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in aerospace systems integration. Proven experience with complex systems integration projects and a deep understanding of aerospace vehicle design principles are required. Familiarity with simulation tools, testing methodologies, and relevant industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and strong problem-solving capabilities are essential for success in this role. This position is instrumental in shaping the future of flight through advanced engineering solutions. The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, analyzing, and validating mechanical systems and components for aircraft and spacecraft applications. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and ensuring the successful execution of design projects from concept to production. Key responsibilities include performing stress analysis, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis using FEA tools; creating detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings; and collaborating with manufacturing, testing, and systems engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
