Responsibilities:
+ Successfully learn and sell all Aftermarket products and offerings, to include but not limited to, Parts, Service, Contract Maintenance, technology innovation products, and Rush's RushCare offerings (Service Connect and PartsConnect).
+ Competence in systematic selling, which includes pre-call planning, investigating sales opportunities, offering Rush specific solutions, and closing business sales.
+ Call on National Accounts through various mediums, partnering closely with Rush Aftermarket National Accounts Sales Manager (RSM) to promote account programs and process.
+ Sell multiple Parts product categories and specific Service repair types.
+ Promote and sell "All Makes" Parts and Service, beyond proprietary brands.
+ Promote and sell Rush and OE special market programs.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies for all products offered.
+ Participate in company, market, or vendor driven sales blitzes, trade shows and annual job specific employee and customer events, to include periodic training and development off site.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer Bachelors' degree from an accredited university or college.
+ Experienced in business to business sales, or within our industry preferred.
+ Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
+ Gain literacy and competency of Microsoft Dynamics 360 (CRM) to pre-call plan, document sales strategy, manage all accounts sales activity.
+ Capable of managing an assigned Book of Business (BOB), which will include 40-50 accounts.

Accountable for delivering aftermarket growth for parts and services aligned with the Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) strategy.
**What You'll Do (Job Duties)**
+ Achieve annual business plan including Construction Industry sales, Customer Value Agreement (CVA) 4+ (machine age) growth, Top 14 rebuild growth, and prioritized service events (PSEs) for the assigned territory.
+ Partner with dealer's parts and service sales management, sales reps, product specialists, and marketing management to influence sales execution.
+ Drive adoption of sales funnel management with dealer leadership and sales representatives to improve sales performance and achieve sales targets.
+ Drive dealer and customer adoption of customer-facing digital platforms including Cat Central and parts.cat.com.
+ Regularly visit customers to understand unmet customer needs and attain customer insights. Communicate the Voice of Customer and Voice of Dealer to Sales Support teams and Services Development, product groups and/or other internal stakeholders.
+ Deliver profitable growth leveraging the Four Disciplines of Execution ("4DX") methodology.
+ Optimize parts sales variance utilization within budget to drive incremental business.

The Aftermarket Sales Representative solicit parts and service business from accounts through personal and phone contacts. The representative will develop new accounts, recover lost accounts, and manage established accounts.

Responsibilities:
+ Successfully learn and sell all Aftermarket products and offerings, to include but not limited to, Parts, Service, Contract Maintenance, technology innovation products, and Rush's RushCare offerings (Service Connect and PartsConnect).
+ Competence in systematic selling, which includes pre-call planning, investigating sales opportunities, offering Rush specific solutions, and closing business sales.
+ Call on National Accounts through various mediums, partnering closely with Rush Aftermarket National Accounts Sales Manager (RSM) to promote account programs and process.
+ Sell multiple Parts product categories and specific Service repair types.
+ Promote and sell "All Makes" Parts and Service, beyond proprietary brands.
+ Promote and sell Rush and OE special market programs.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies for all products offered.
+ Participate in company, market, or vendor driven sales blitzes, trade shows and annual job specific employee and customer events, to include periodic training and development off site.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prefer Bachelors' degree from an accredited university or college.
+ Experienced in business to business sales, or within our industry preferred.
+ Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
+ Gain literacy and competency of Microsoft Dynamics 360 (CRM) to pre-call plan, document sales strategy, manage all accounts sales activity.
+ Capable of managing an assigned Book of Business (BOB), which will include 40-50 accounts.

**The Role:**
Xylem is hiring an Aftermarket Sales Engineer-Custom Pumps. The position will be part of a passionate team that strives to provide consistent legendary customer service and to support overall company goals in relation to optimizing our commercial team, acting as One Company, and driving revenue and profitability. The Aftermarket Sales Engineer position will combine advanced technical knowledge and solution selling with strong interpersonal and communication skills in collaborating with external customers and interdepartmentally within Xylem.
**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:**
+ Develop technical depth and understanding of Xylem product and application knowledge.
+ Business development, penetrating and developing strong relationships at both existing and new customers.
+ Working with Engineers, Contractors, and End Users to provide superior technical support while ensuring that Xylem maintains a competitive advantage in specifications and through relationships.
+ Provide Aftermarket Solutions including engineered repairs and product upgrades, product retrofits, parts, and field service to solve unique customer pain points and ensure reliable performance of equipment.
+ Forming and implementing sales strategy to reach targets for orders and sales, and grow business while maximizing profit margins.
+ Support to Xylem Regional Sales Managers, Equipment Owners, and/or other external customers by providing pre through post‐sales technical and commercial support.
+ Respond timely to internal and external customer inquiries (technical requests, order status/updates, product availability, pricing, etc.) and/or resolve customer issues and other requests for information and/or proactively notify customers about order status and other changes.
+ Daily utilization of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), quotation and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to input new data and maintain existing data to current status to support internal and external customer interactions and needs.
+ Lead or participate in special projects to create best practices, improve processes, and create training tools or to support Xylem initiatives as determined and conduct related presentations or training sessions.
+ Create legendary customer service experiences for internal and external customers.
+ Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
**Additional Responsibilities:**
+ Fulfill light project coordination for equipment upgrades and refurbishments including a full range of support from oversight of schedule and communication with all related Xylem departments and external customer and may include update of technical manuals, order execution and follow‐up based on quotation, sales agreements, contract specifications.
+ Participate in engineering calls, jobsite startups & troubleshooting, and external customer product education as needed.
+ Handling in overflow from other sales support positions as necessary, including but not limited to tasks such as technical support, quotations, project technical manuals, and order fulfillment.
**Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
+ 1‐3 years of experience with pump repairs.
+ Sales or customer facing experience.
+ Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment and engineering fundamentals. Complex blueprint reading.
+ Multi Project Management
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
+ Excellent collaborative and communication skills (written & oral)
+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills & task management
+ Legendary customer service skills
+ Six Sigma Green Belt candidate interest
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in Electrical and Controls technology including various PLC and HMI hardware platforms andcommunication protocols
+ Proficient in Adobe Pro
+ Familiarity with product and service selection tools
+ An in‐depth understanding of CRM, quotation and ERP order entry tools and the ability to navigate thesystems effectively and efficiently
+ Passionate about water and the environment
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$100,000 plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.

**Job Duties**
+ Manage the Aftermarket Sales Department to maximize the sale of material handling service and parts, industrial battery service, and operator training within the branch territory.
+ Develop sales strategies and conduct sales meetings. Coordinate activities among other managers ensuring proper communication. Review and approve sales-related functions as required.
+ Work to increase customer satisfaction and retention. Maintain direct contact with current and prospective Branch and National Accounts customers.
+ Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports.
+ Review accounts receivables and vendor invoicing. Recommend payment terms and write-offs.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5-7 years related experience
+ High school diploma required.
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience preferred.
+ Three to five years product, service, or parts sales experience. Material handling industry experience preferred.
+ Good communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.
+ Completion of background check, drug screen, and physical required.
