**Job Description**
Owns manages develops and prioritizes product backlog of user stories
Conducts backlog refinement meetings with the scrum development team. Attends sprint planning and review meetings to give feedback on sprint achievement to the team
Ensure product features are clear and succinct to eliminate guesswork from the development team
Attends daily scrum meetings as necessary monitors the progress of product development and delivery through daily interaction and sprint reviews Provides regular updates status and risks to management and stakeholders
Analyzes stakeholder feedback to determine features or components that will add the greatest value to the product
Engages with stakeholders to obtain information requirements on expected features
Measures product performance as well as value delivered to market in order to make adjustments where necessary
Assesses product value stream to identify areas that require improvements Ensures implemented product features add value to end users and increase company returns
Establishes user story acceptance criteria and accepts user stories into the baseline Defines sprints and stories content accepts sprint goals Drives sprint goals and sprint delivery and acts the sole owner for acceptance of sprint delivered development
Ability to read write and speak the English language to communicate with employees customers suppliers in person on the phone and by written communications in a clear straightforward and professional manner

**Pay Transparency**

The Hartford is seeking an Agile Product Owner (APO) to support our Cross Business Insurance Risk Engineering portfolio. This critical role sets the priorities for 1-2 agile teams, represents the voice of the customer, and links execution to the business vision. Responsibilities

Compensation

The role for Product Owner Advisor (Digital Client Engagement) involves a broad set of responsibilities, with a focus on supporting Cigna's key clients (with a focus and alignment to the JPMorgan Chase account), in all aspects of our Digital technologies, solutions, and endeavors. Product Owners are responsible for all client customizations which involve strategy, analysis, execution and maintenance for each project that involves digital redesign. Responsibilities also vary from assisting Sales with an understanding of our capabilities, to creating a digital strategy that aligns with the client's roadmap. Must be fully proficient with giving client presentations, including website demos. Working with Digital Product Owners and IT partners is also an essential part of the role - conveying business priorities and aligning IT efforts with key business objectives, via Agile methodology. There's also partnership required with other matrix partners within Cigna: Product, Customer Experience, and other Cigna leads. Introduce a Dedicated Digital Client Engagement Strategist who will:
  • Serve as the strategic liason between high profile clients and internal teams
  • Translate client goals into actionable digital strategies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, analytics, media, etc.)
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on client needs
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Advocacy : Ensure client needs are understood and prioritized
  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate on quarterly/annual marketing plans
  • Performance Oversight : Monitor KPIs and campaign effectiveness
  • Issue Resolution : Address concerns swiftly and effectively
  • Growth Enablement : Drive client expansion through tailored solutions
What you need to do the job:
• Bachelor or Master level degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in account management and sales support(5+ years)
• Proficiency and experience with Agile methodology and tools (Jira, Wrike)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Possess strong communication skills for multi-level personnel.
• Organizational, process improvement and analytical skills
• Strong presentation skills

Responsibilities-

  • Manage business funded and portfolio initiatives pertaining to data, business intelligence, and analytical enablement solutions.
  • Partner with Business stakeholders, Data Scientists, and Enterprise Architects to design and deliver automated data analytic solutions, machine learning models, and value across different disciplines.
  • Manage product owner resources and collaborate with capability analysts and engineering teams ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

Qualifications-

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 2 years of IT experience (or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: Amazon Web Services ("AWS"); Python; SAS; Tableau; Hadoop; Teradata; SQL; Healthcare Domain; analytics; data modeling; sales; marketing; underwriting; and working as an Agile Technical Product Owner.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Senior Business Analyst - Agile Product Owner/ Business Analyst
The Executive Office of Health and Human Services is seeking an experienced professional Senior Business Analyst to join the IT team supporting the Department of Transitional Assistance.

DETAILED LIST OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Agile Systems Development Life cycle: Requirement Definition, Analysis, Design, development, testing and post-production maintenance.
  • Provide business systems analysis and process redesign expertise, interacting with business internal and external users to clearly define and document requirements.
  • Experience managing agile requirements, prioritizing requirements, and scoping for sprints.
  • Experienced in using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Monitor systems operation; review daily reports including but not limited to tickets, error reports; track, research and resolve reported issues.
  • Gather requirements by facilitating JAD sessions, analyzing system workflows and processes.
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources and prioritize user requirements using MOSCOW and other techniques.
  • Understand systemic data requirements as they relate to enhancing/changing the business process or system.
  • Participate and/or coordinate required testing/validation of system enhancements and fixes, creating and/or executing the test cases including problem determination and resolution.
  • Use database querying tools (e.g. TOAD) to run queries for data validation and meet agency's reporting needs. Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Provides status updates to business leads/stakeholders and attains timely requirement approvals on documentation
  • Prepares all system documentation, including but not limited to business analysis summary, research, presentations, requirements and detailed design documents.
  • Monitors System Requests, Change Orders and Information Requests to ensure adequate priority is assigned and are addressed timely.
  • Facilitates project meetings and promptly creates/disseminates project summary/meeting notes and status.
  • Reviews changes in State and Federal regulations to determine the impact on existing systems and recommends system modifications to accommodate these changes.
  • Reviews database structure to ensure the design supports the application.
  • Prepares data flow diagrams by analyzing the business needs of end users to determine the flow of data within the organization.
  • Function as a mentor for one or more junior staff in areas of expertise, such as: extensive knowledge of the Department's business operations and eligibility systems
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of Agile product owner/ business analysis experience.
  • Proven skill and effectiveness in requirements gathering, definition, business planning, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, system design, testing implementation and change management.
  • Skill and experience working on Agile projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of team members and management to clarify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience solving business and technical issues while supporting colleagues in a coaching and mentoring capacity.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business processes and operations.
  • CSPO/CBAP etc. certifications preferred.
