We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Program Manager to lead large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives composed of multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate is an expert in Agile methodologies, especially the Scrum framework and SAFe, and is passionate about facilitating collaboration, delivering value, and continuously improving processes. This role will be pivotal in managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic programs.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and manage complex enterprise-level programs involving multiple Agile teams and external stakeholders. 

• Ensure consistent delivery of program objectives through proper team alignment, sprint planning, and backlog refinement. 

• Monitor project progress, remove roadblocks, and maintain a high level of team productivity and focus. 

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on priorities. 

• Foster a collaborative environment across teams, product owners, and sponsors through open communication and Agile best practices. 

• Manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and issues across sprints, ensuring timely mitigation. 

• Provide project updates, reports, and performance dashboards to executives and key stakeholders. 

• Champion and enforce adherence to the organization's Agile Program Management processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements. 

• Drive Agile maturity and adoption across teams, including Agile training, coaching, and mentorship. 

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Agile Manifesto.
• Mastery of the Scrum framework, including roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.
• Strong knowledge of additional Agile methodologies such as Kanban, XP, etc.
• Proficiency in backlog management, user story writing, estimation, and Agile planning.
• Expert-level knowledge and certifications in scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus.
• SAFe certification (e.g., SPC, SA, SASM) required.
• Experience with CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Business-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex programs and multiple Agile teams with cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership abilities.

IT Agile Program Manager Overview:

• The Digital Transformation Group (DTG) PMO team provides Project and Program Management to key cross-functional and technical initiatives. The team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to orchestrate project resources and activities in the end-to-end execution and delivery of one or more IT Finance programs and projects.

What You’ll Do :

• Oversee all phases of one or more projects and actively manage project execution, coordinating with team members and vendors
• Develop project charters, resource plans, project schedule, and other project management deliverables as required by project lifecycle methodology
• Actively manage the execution of projects, assigning tasks to project resources, managing project scope, tasks, and quality to meet deliverables and commitments
• Ensure completion of risk, security, architecture, disaster recovery, ROI, and other mandated assessments
• Conduct project team and steering committee meetings with documented minutes and follow-up actions
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed and ready for the next sprint
• Run Agile ceremonies, sessions, and workshops
• Assist scrum teams, through coaching & mentoring, to be self-directed with strong decision making, conflict resolution, and transparency
• Proactively manage risk, issues and dependencies, executing risk mitigation and taking corrective measures

Experience Required :

• Finance Project Management experience (Supply Chain, Procurement, General Ledger/Accounting, Assets)
• Required: Must have 4+ years of meaningful experience in project management experience with proven track record in delivering complex, enterprise, or cross-functional IT or technology projects
• Required: Must have agile or hybrid waterfall/agile experience
• Preferably experience with SAP - as a program/project manager
• Experience with cloud technologies strongly
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian and other project management tooling (JIRA, Confluence, JQL, Dashboards, ServiceNow)
• Desirable SAFe certified, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
