We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Program Manager to lead large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives composed of multiple Agile teams. The ideal candidate is an expert in Agile methodologies, especially the Scrum framework and SAFe, and is passionate about facilitating collaboration, delivering value, and continuously improving processes. This role will be pivotal in managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex enterprise-level programs involving multiple Agile teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent delivery of program objectives through proper team alignment, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
- Monitor project progress, remove roadblocks, and maintain a high level of team productivity and focus.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on priorities.
- Foster a collaborative environment across teams, product owners, and sponsors through open communication and Agile best practices.
- Manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and issues across sprints, ensuring timely mitigation.
- Provide project updates, reports, and performance dashboards to executives and key stakeholders.
- Champion and enforce adherence to the organization's Agile Program Management processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Drive Agile maturity and adoption across teams, including Agile training, coaching, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Agile Manifesto.
- Mastery of the Scrum framework, including roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.
- Strong knowledge of additional Agile methodologies such as Kanban, XP, etc.
- Proficiency in backlog management, user story writing, estimation, and Agile planning.
- Expert-level knowledge and certifications in scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus.
- SAFe certification (e.g., SPC, SA, SASM) required.
- Experience with CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Business-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
