Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. The selected candidate will support the Sentinel / Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.

What You'll Get To Do:

• This position is responsible for vertical and horizontal integration of Command & Launch.
• Disciplines to include master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, engineering, etc.
• This position regularly interfaces with senior management across the company and our customers.
• The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with managers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as an integration function for the Command and Launch team engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence and execution.
• Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.
• Coordinate schedules and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs.
• Support the Command & Launch Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy Utah.

Basic Qualifications:

• Project Management: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 1 year of related experience. In lieu of formal degree, 4 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Principal Project Management: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience. In lieu of formal degree, 4 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• 1+ years experience with project management and/or Earned Value Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of a large complex program.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• At least 1 year of previous experience leading a team.
• Experience with high level customer engagement
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $5,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: 78,700.00 - 118,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Business Analysis and/or Product Management . This individual will be responsible for the analysis, planning, and management of the improved business process implementation and automation on INFUSE internal projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of project and product management, technical, and analytical skills to analyze and improve processes on department and company levels and communicate directly with the stakeholders.

• Conduct in-depth analysis for complex business-optimization projects across different independent departments
• Lead change management efforts by ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement throughout the project phases.
• Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to reach the goals within the timeline.
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, communicating progress, and managing expectations
• Analyze business needs, workflows, and processes, and translate them into clear, actionable project requirements.
• Understand product workflows and vision from top management and transform them into process improvements and automation.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions, mitigation strategies, and change management plans.
