POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for Pipeline and Compressor Station Operations in the Kenton TN District. Individual will be required to operate the Station including Reciprocating engine horsepower, aux equipment and other equipment in the Kenton Tn District, as well as other assigned work. Required to learn all station functions proficiently and operate the Station Assets and Pipeline facilities. Required to handle encroachment activities including performing pipeline locates, inspection and interaction with excavators. May be required to take the lead on jobs and direct the actions of others. Will be expected to participate in the On-Call duties of the Area and respond to "call-outs". Shall demonstrate an ongoing proficiency in Leadership and Interpersonal Skills. Responsibilities also include compliance documentation for assigned area and the successful completion of all the Operator Qualification tasks assigned specifically for this position. This position will be located at our Kenton TN Compressor Station and will operate in a scheduled rotation. Normal work hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. weekdays; (6:00 am to 2:30 now) however, this position is subject to occasional call-out and schedule adjustments, as necessary. This position's primary area of responsibility will be at our Kenton, TN Compressor Station and the successful candidate will be required to reside within 30 miles of this facility. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for carrying out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline activities and to assist with operations and maintenance of Texas Gas's facilities located in the Greenville, Mississippi area. This position will be responsible for environmental health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Specific duties will consist of, but are not limited to, corrosion control, valve inspection and maintenance, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, one-calls, preventive pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter station and compressor station, valve sites and right of way maintenance, and assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities. The facility consists of reciprocating natural gas fired engines, turbine compressors, and associated equipment. This position will be responsible for recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety related operating conditions, accident and near miss reporting, as well as emergency response (HAZWOPER). This position is also responsible for regulatory compliance, operations, maintenance, and repair procedures as associated with DOT, industry standards, manufacturer, and company guidelines as they relate to facility equipment and appurtenances. This position will be expected to respond to call-outs and will be part of the on-call rotation related to pipeline and compression operations and for responding to emergency or abnormal situations. The successful candidate will be required to live within 30 miles of the Greenville Compressor Station facility located in Greenville, Mississippi, in order to respond to compressor station, call outs expediently. The successful candidate will be required to reside within 30 miles of the Eunice Compressor Station to respond to call outs expediently.
