Job Summary

The AI Analyst will design, build, and support AI-powered solutions-such as intelligent agents, chatbots, and automation workflows-using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, and the Power Platform. Key Responsibilities
Solution Development
- Build and deploy AI-powered tools (agents, bots, automations) using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and quickly prototype solutions.
- Use Python, C#, SQL, and Postman to integrate APIs and support data pipelines where needed.
- Contribute to the development of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) tools and knowledge-based agents (training provided if needed).
- Support change management efforts by helping users understand, trust, and adopt AI tools in their workflows.
- Deliver presentations, documentation, and hands-on demos to promote AI literacy across the company.
- Partner with internal champions to scale adoption of Copilot and other AI-powered platforms.
- Monitor emerging trends in AI and ML, particularly in Microsoft's ecosystem, and assess their applicability.
- Evaluate internal processes and recommend AI-driven improvements or automation opportunities.
- Assist in tracking usage, adoption metrics, and feedback to continuously improve solutions.
- Conduct ongoing research into new and emerging AI technologies.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

- Experience (academic or hands-on) with one or more of the following: Python, C#, SQL, Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI services.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an AI Analyst. This is a contingent hire for a full-time client facing position supporting a government agency. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our AI technologies and products. You will work on a broad range of projects, from initial development to deployment
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions using emerging technologies such as deep learning , natural language processing , generative AI , and Agentic AI .
+ Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends and designs and develops AI/ML models to solve business problems.
+ Utilizes understanding of model differences and applicability across different use cases to advise on appropriate solutioning for a variety of functions.
+ Identify potential data security and integrity issues ahead of implementation.
+ Develop and apply current verification and validation paradigms, including model testing, simulation, and formal methods, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems .
+ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions .
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science , Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
+ Minimum of five (5) years of artificial intelligence experience
+ Active TS/SCI
Desired:
+ Strong background in software engineering , artificial intelligence , and machine learning .
+ Experience with current verification and validation paradigms, including model testing, simulation, and formal methods.
+ Experience developing with machine learning frameworks ( Pytorch , Tensorflow , MxNet, Caffe, Keras , etc.).
Basic Compensation:
$125,200 - $187,700
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered solutions tailored to manufacturing processes.
- Lead workflow automation projects using Agentic AI technologies to drive process efficiency and innovation.

Compensation:
The annual compensation for this position starts at $140,000 . Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
